Evening everybody!
Henry's Legacy
A curmudgeon is Henry, a nasty old coot.
About other people he 'don't' give a hoot.
He is mean and contrary, he wants his own way.
He'll contradict everything others will say.
If you thought it was wrong, he would say it was right.
If you said it was day, he'd insist it was night.
They all labeled Henry, who'd likely object
to any proposal, "a pain in the neck"..
When there was a need for a prominent face
on a library window they had to replace,
not inclined to be modest, ole Henry was vain.
He insisted his image be etched on the pane.
He coveted fame; all his lifetime he'd fought
to be in the limelight. That's all Henry sought.
In addition to pain in the neck, here at last
He's recognized now as a 'pane in the glass'.

Someone (Dubya) posted it earlier but I still felt like crying.
See my reply in #113. I think that says what I feel best.
Thank you.

Why
1. I signed up for an exercise class and was told to
wear loose-fitting clothing. If I HAD any loose-fitting
clothing, Iwouldn't have signed up in the first place
2. When I was young, we used to go "skinny dipping."
Now I just "chunky dunk."
3. Wouldn't it be nice if whenever we messed up our
life we could simply press 'Ctrl Alt Delete' and start all over?
4. Stress is when you wake up screaming and then you
realize you haven't fallen asleep yet.
5. Why is it that our children can't read a Bible in
school, but they can in prison?
6. If raising children was going to be easy, it never
would have started with something called labor!
7. Brain cells come and brain cells go, but fat cells
live forever.
8. Why do I have to swear on the Bible in court when
the Ten Commandments cannot be displayed in a federal
building?

One of my Military Tribute Poems.
We Owe You
We owe you all for all you do,
You risk it all each day.
Wed like to send our deepest thanks,
To you wed like to say.
You are our bravest and our best,
Were proud of all of you.
You serve your country selflessly,
Your country knows this too.
So know that while youre far away,
This nation backs your fight.
With your hard work and Gods Dear Grace,
This all will come out right.
So please stay safe and do your best,
Our hearts are with you there.
We hope you know that here back home,
The people really care.
