Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

He may not be a muslim, but he creates terror with his constant threats.

As I recall, I can keep a vial of Bio active, by transporting it in my bra. Some of it will need a beer cooler/chest.

Could that be why so many little old ladies get checked at the airport?

Chemistry is not one of the things that I have studied, had lots of trouble remembering what I needed to know in mining.

yes! thank you. ignore EOM and he'll go away. i seriously doubt him as well, and have stopped reading that board. they say he knows the signs that lead to an attack, but anyone that is internet savvy can find the information he claims to know from other jihadi's. no more reposting of EOM trash would do well for this board.

While I'm not interested in hearing about EOM, I am very interested in hearing which cities are still on elevated alert. Probably not Provo Utah, but I don't know. Is Boston? Baltimore? Atlanta?

One way you may be able to find out, go to the state/loc gov homepages for the towns that post the alers.

Shortwave radio can have some strange stuff.

On MSNBC, Summer 2001, they had a documentary on how US weapons are moved on the country's highways. Some caches were stored at commercial storage sites. Some of them in rather ramshackle storage places run with minimum security.

The correspondents got in to look at the stuff; at one storage site, the operator said that the govt seemed to have forgotten about the weapons stored there since they'd been there for a long time. He was hoping the media exposure would get the Pentagon to come and pick them up.

Needless to say, the documentary hasn't been repeated, but it was mind blowing.

Of course, by the laws of stats, at least some of those "fake" threats must have been true.

It looks like this EOM is nothing but a fraud. I will still be a bit worried until the 21st of FEB. but I am not putting much worth on the words of EOM.

I thought that even though the alert level is being lowered there were eight unnamed cities (in addition to DC, LA and NYC)that were under scrutiny. I haven't been able to find any list or partial list of those cities.

Laws and several other faculty members at the Marine Sciences Building had complained to the UH administration about the number of break-ins at the building as well as other buildings at the Manoa campus. Technical equipment, laptops and personal items such as checkbooks and credit cards were stolen."

Wasn't there an incident involving "rogue" Russian army or KGB officers targeting a wealthy and powerful Russian civilian (who happened to be on the outs with Putin) in Great Britain last fall? Was this fellow a newspaper publisher?

What are the odds the Russian Black market would be used as an operational method by the past or current Russian government to maneuver certain items? It's obvious that it would be used by rogue elements for profit but wouldn't our own CIA dig deep into the gutter if it was deemed necessary?
