Once, fatherhood was a very manly affair. It involved wearing a suit or a uniform, reading an actual newspaper, maybe in a recliner, maybe with a stiff drink by your side. That is, at least, the 1950s and 60s myth, which remains mighty, not least because we got to fall in love with it and critique it anew while watching Mad Men. Of course, flesh-and-blood dads were always more complicated. But for centuries, the commanding patriarch was at the center of family life. Dad was the decider of the domicile.
But in the half century since father knew best, dads have become witless, shiftless laughing stocks on TV and in movies, and in some cases even in real life. Their bods have gone soft. Their hats are lame. Their jokes are, well, a joke.

The 1970s sitcom All in the Family was one of the first TV shows to feature a lame dad: Archie Bunker, a crotchety couch-bound bigot whose primary function on the show was to very vocally lament the twilight of his own virility and of white male power in America. Though still presiding, sometimes aggressively, over his mini-fiefdom in Queens, his comments about “Commies,” “women’s libbers,” and blacks, were meant to give viewers the sense that a new world order was coming, and it wasn’t gonna be good for men.
Archie Bunker kicked off a trend. From the exquisitely oblivious Homer Simpson to the miserable, beer-guzzling Al Bundy on Married with Children, to the similarly named Phil Dunphy, Modern Family’s resident doofus...

Make Dad a completely optional accessory—and what do you expect?
One of its inspirations was th e1955 show 'The Honeymooners' in which, although not a dad, Jackie Gleason played the role of buffoon Ralph Cramden.
Semi-idiot Ed Norton, played by Art Carney, added to the propaganda, and both were regularly save by their much smarter wives.
A new BMW commercial is a recent example.
A woman is driving the BMW while her cuck husband weakly sits in the passenger seat. Video cuts to her parents house where her pansy father is attempting to cook Christmas dinner and failing miserably. Flames, screams and dropped trays ensue until cuckold husband and his power wife pull up.
Absolutely pathetic.
The propagandists in Hollywood were determined to further the road to a misandrist matriarchy they had started even before Women’s Suffrage.
How’s that worked out for women?
I have very consciously gone the other way. If civilization is to be saved, it will be saved by Men and by no one else. Women? I find I have little respect for them. I worked with them for years, I had many female bosses. It was all a disaster. Women in the workplace is just bad news. And the young women I see on the internet who trying to date their way to a better life? Run, Forrest, run! Our society needs to prepare for a demographic crash, because smart men are having nothing to do with women now.

I watch the NFL. When my team plays I listen to the play by play on the radio. It’s not just the commercials. It’s the ‘sideline reporters’ following up one stupid question with another. It’s really political encroachment. Then there’s the ‘coexist’ messages on the field and helmets.
Still ... communism.
“Write what you know” writing workshops say. This author knows: watching TV, and lots of it. Her drug of choice, or more likely convenience, has her completely detached from reality. She sits at the children’s table.
Not just dad’s. Any white male on TV is a witless buffoon. And everyone knows any white female is in a relationship with a black guy.
I have noticed that there are exactly zero competent white males according to TV and commercials. The woman or the minority is ALWAYS the leader/boss/hero. The white male is always the subordinate.
What I find especially distressing is how many chumps are going along with their kids being taken to groomers in drag and wearing “I love my TRANSKID” T shirts.
It's not your team and you need to stop supporting an entity that's front and center with their attacks on the United States, Caucasians, and white men in particular.
Just pull the plug.
It's much easier for them to rationalize grooming than accept responsibility for their own role in damaging their children.
It's also Munchausen by Proxy. These children are a mere pawn in the parent's psychodrama.
Come on. Our hero-the big fella on the radio-bought Apple products whenever they came out. Doesn’t mean he’d pull the plug.
The NFL is growing. You can’t stop it. No more stadiums that double as baseball fields. As much as the freepers here claim to turn it off the rest of America is witnessing its growth. Just look at the international games.
Restore the Patriarchy!
