In yet another wonderful case of a corporation taking action to purge its ranks of execrable leftist radicals, Office Depot stepped in and fired the employee responsible for the horrific incident, apologizing to customers and noting that steps are being taken to prevent such incidents at its stores across the country in the future.
For reference, the incident gained notoriety online after a video of it was published online by the “Michigan Forward” X account. In the video, which was posted on the night of Friday, September 12, and received well over 4 million views as of Saturday morning, a customer tried picking up posters for a Kirk vigil and was told the posters would not be printed because they were “propaganda.”
Specifically, the customer could be heard telling a trio of employees that he ordered posters for a vigil and was there to pick them up. That’s when a woman who identified herself as a manager of that Office Depot location rudely informed the customer that the store would not be printing the vigil posters.
Beginning that response, the rude Office Depot store manager snapped, “Yeah, so, we don’t print propaganda.” Doubling down over the protestations of the customer, the manager insisted that the tasteful posters for the vigil would not be printed, saying, “It’s propaganda. I’m sorry. We don’t print that here.”
Then, as the recording customer demanded an answer as to how the posters honoring a murdered political figure for a nighttime vigil were “propaganda,” the manager snapped, “Because he’s a political figure and I don’t have to …” Another employee, likely sensing danger, cut in and told the customer that the general manager would be back in on Monday and the issue could be taken back up then.
Drawing attention to the matter in its explosively viral tweet, the “Michigan Forward” X account said, “A team member ordered and paid for a poster to be printed at @officedepot so he could bring it to a vigil for Charlie Kirk tonight in Michigan. When he arrived to pick it up four hours later, the employees said they refused to print it, calling the poster ‘propaganda.’” Watch the incident here:
Office Depot responded by announcing the manager had been fired, saying that her views did not reflect those of the corporation, and that it is apologizing over the “regrettable” incident. Beginning, it said, “We are deeply concerned by the incident that occurred at Store 3382 in Portage, Michigan. The behavior displayed by our associate is completely unacceptable and insensitive, violates our company policies, and does not reflect the values we uphold at Office Depot. We sincerely apologize to the customer affected and to our community for this regrettable situation.”
Getting to the bit about the manager being fired, Office Depot said, “Upon learning of the incident, we immediately reached out to the customer to address their concerns and seek to fulfill their order to their satisfaction. We also launched an immediate internal review and, as a result, the associate involved is no longer with the organization.”
Concluding the statement, it announced that new training will ensure this doesn’t happen again, saying, “We are committed to reinforcing training with all team members to ensure our standards of respect, integrity, and customer service are upheld at every location. Our customers and communities deserve nothing less.”
I have a word for these people. I call them the “dregs”, because that’s exactly what they are.

There are about a dozen of these on YouTube where the Leftist radical does something like this and then gets fired. So much fun to watch. The best is the transgender person having a complete meltdown - literally screaming and crying - because they got fired.
I call them public school graduates who swallowed the propaganda THEY were fed.
One wonders what these clerks thought of a mom and pop baker getting dragged into court for not wanting to help celebrate homosexual marriage, a religious belief with biblical references

Regardless of corporate feelings on the politics involved, they knew that failure to act swiftly and decisively would be disastrous to their business.

The employees were, obviously, not concerned with the bottom-line of the company by whom they were employed!

My wife and I saw this last night. Her first reaction was, “Office Depot can afford to turn ANYONE away? Last time I looked the place was dying.”
I thought that was funny.
The only way OD can recover from this incident is to make a LARGE donation TPUSA. The problem here for OD is that these two malcontents didn’t offend with words, like many others, they offended with ACTION. This requires action beyond the statutory firing. It needs to make the offended whole. We’ll see if OD goes beyond firing a red/blue haired transient.
