 Lies!!

My sandwich was just some lowcarb bread (Sola brand, the oatmeal one) and 18 seconds of microwave used on three slices of already cooked bacon. This is what my life has become.
Oh, and that Kraft brand salad dressing, the one with the green lid.
Anyway, during that 18 second interval, this BS popped in there.
And while posting it, an old ‘treason song’ Clannad used to do, “Bhean A Tí” (Woman Of The House what ails you) popped in behind it.
So, I guess what I’m saying is, my associative memory is weird, even to me.

The original was one of the GOAT movies/stories...
In some sense, it almost seems like Donald Trump’s journey back to the WH...

Saw The Count of Monte Cristo movie produced by a French studio, starring Pierre Niney which was released in 2024. It’s almost 3 hours long. Also watched the TV mini series with Sam Claflin that was released in 2025. It consists of 8 episodes. I enjoyed both.

Not sure if I saw that one. Maybe it was on Turner Classic Movies. I remember seeing the 1975 TV film with Richard Chamberlain and the 2002 film version with Jim Caviezel.

    Yes indeed...
I love movies based on a well-written story, and “acting” rather than “effects”...

Yep. I think that was the first time I saw Jim in anything. Then he went on to do the TV series Person of Interest.

Yeah, it’s like the Jane Austen novels...somebody keeps doing remakes of them.
