Pam Bondi is doing what Trump is telling her to do. She was chosen for her loyalty - and understandably so, given his first term and all the lawfare thereafter. He likely thinks releasing the info would open a can of worms and perpetually dominate the entire news cycle and hijack his agenda…instead it’s a damned if you do, damned if you don’t scenario.

Matt Gaetz’ personal life history was being made into its own Epstein Island and he rightfully wanted to spare his family and legacy the scrutiny for the time being.

Shortly after the first time she made the suggestion (for Trump to fire Bondi) — Megyn Kelly then made a quip about Kristi Noem…and her looks. No joke. Literally in the same sentence. “At least Kristi is getting better” (or something to that effect) 🙄Which goes to show, Megyn is singling out Pam Bondi out of cattiness and refusing to apply the same standards to the men advising Trump or to Trump himself.

Bondi is taking orders* from Trump, not the other way around.

Hopefully Bondi’s replacement will keep their mouth shut—and just produce the results we all want.

I don’t think it’s hurdles. I think it’s part of a plan to keep the public confused.

Trump is the puppet-master here. He’s calling the shots. We will probably never know what his rationale is. But from what I know about Trump, he’s probably on the right track.

Bondi made it the centerpiece of her service as Attorney General in endless press conferences and interviews on Fox News as well as her briefing of right wing influencers in the White House in February. She gave them all notebooks that said “Epstein files” on the cover and promised to keep them fully informed as the case progressed.
