Jonathan Capehart was filled with virtue signaling -- um, we mean righteous indignation! -- as he opened Saturday's edition of MSNBC's The Weekend.

What kind of heartless SOB could detain not just adults, but children, in these pictured conditions, and even defend it, saying he was "proud," adding:

"If they’re good enough for our military, they’re good enough for these young people."

Truly, Trump is the most despicable, callous, cold-hearted villain ever to occupy -- no, wait. That would be Vice President Joe Biden, and these images are from the Obama-Biden administration in 2014.

This is an Illegal Alien Processing/Removal Facility; there is no reason to have illegal aliens spend significant time at the facility.

The purpose of --- and the compassionate reason for -- the Illegal Alien Processing/Removal Facility is to return illegal aliens to their homes as efficiently as possible, thus eliminating their "fear of living in the USA" that illegal aliens -- and the supporters and justifiers of their illegal behavior -- complain about constantly. Thus, in this matter ICE is a genuine humanitarian mission by the Trump admninistration.

I believe in putting illegals in cages but I am not so sure about Alligator Alcatraz.

There will be named hurricanes in and around south Florida. We will be expected to evacuate these invaders. It would be more trouble having them there than most other places.

Put them in some desert where there is no escape, little environmental impact, and no concerns with hurricanes.

My brother is a firm believer that the two parties "switched places" at some point in the 20th century --

Supporting slavery before the Civil War? That was the Democrats (which means we should blame the Republicans).
Freeing the slaves? That was the Republicans (which means the Democrats ought to get the credit).
Starting the KKK? That was the Democrats (which means we should blame the Republicans).
Jim Crow? That was the Democrats (which means we should blame the Republicans).
Civil Rights Act of 1964? (Mostly Republicans. So give the Democrats the credit).
Strom Thurmond? Worst guy ever. When he was a Democrat. But he became a Republican and a non-racist later. Which goes to show ... something.

The most they ever did for us at Homestead was to take a forklift, and shove a pallet of drinking water through the front door of the dormitory. That was pre-Andrew.
