On Saturday the US Army released the name of the pilot of the US Army Blackhawk helicopter that flew into a passenger jet landing at Reagan National Airport.
The crash was on Wednesday. The third pilot’s name, Rebecca Lobach, was finally released on Saturday, three days later.
All 64 passengers in the jet were killed. The three pilots in the Blackhawk helicopter also died in the explosive crash.

After withholding at the request of the family the name of the female pilot killed in the mid-air collision Wednesday night between an Army Black Hawk helicopter and a PSA/American Airlines passenger plane on final approach to Reagan National Airport near Washington, D.C., the Army issued a statement Saturday afternoon from her family identifying the pilot as 28-year-old Capt. Rebecca Lobach from Durham, N.C.
The other two soldiers killed in the crash previously identified by the Army are Staff Sgt. Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28, of Lilburn, Georgia, and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Andrew Loyd Eaves, 39, of Great Mills, Maryland.
Lobach was part of a three-man crew flying a training mission for “continuity of government” down the Potomac River when the collision occurred, killing all three crew members on the Black Hawk based at nearby Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and all 60 passengers and four crew members on the flight out of Wichita, Kansas.
Lobach, who had over 450 hours of flying experience, recently served as a military social aide at the Biden White House.
It took the US Army and Rebecca’s family three days to scrub her social media accounts. They really don’t want the public to know anything about this female pilot.

What are they hiding from the American public?
They even scrubbed her family members’ accounts.

Like the other poster implied, you have no clue here. Trump knew everything about this individual before her social media was erased. This is the reason Trump was so angry during that initial news conference.

Hiding info definitely increases the demand to know why.
Also hiding info also increases the desire to dig deeper into her background than otherwise would be done.

It’s possible, but doesn’t FB usually take down deceased persons accounts no matter who they are? I don’t know since I haven’t had a FB account since 2017..............
Trump never paced the dei blame on any one person. The fact that ground control was understaffed leads directly back to controllers not being considered because they are white. That is the definition of dei.
The fact that a supervisor allowed a controller to take the night off even though they were already understaffed bears investigating and suggests that the mission wasn’t as important as it might otherwise be. That suggests dei.
Lastly, the fact that the female pilot came out of biden white house with a minimal number of flying hours suggests that she wasn’t really qualified to be where she was. Without regards to your views on her sexual preferences, the fact that she checked that box suggests dei.
But I’m sure you have access to the everything Trump knows.

That’s a lie. Speaking the truth about the obvious cause, or one of them for a tragedy such as this, is never a bad thing. But thanks for self-identifying as pro-DEI here...anti-truth. Duly noted.

This event looked like a suicide mission. Trump had all the information about those crew members on that helicopter, long before they scrubbed the information on the internet, long before the public was ever even given her name.
Trump saw all of her background and social media data and again, this was the reason he was so angry during that initial news conference.
Interesting that she was a captain, while the other pilot was only a warrant officer.
So “Partner” is like being a little bit pregnant? Or sort of pregnant?
Even the The New York Slimes took note of the family’s request to not publish her name.
If the family wanted respect for her privacy, taking such an unusual request had the OPPOSITE effect.
The woman died in uniform while doing what she was trained and ordered to do.
That alone deserves the highest respect and honor.
But scrubbing her social media account is a red flag and puts her in with all the others in recent memory who have had their social media accounts scrubbed by the gubmint.
When investigating such a tragedy, “intentional” is the first thing investigators are obligated to rule out.
In an information age and in a free society, the citizenry also have the ability to do their own investigation as this gubmint has become disposed to evil and cannot be trusted.
A POTUS with a few days in office and secretary of defense with fewer days doesn’t change that.
Both will ensure that the truth will come out, but so far it seems there is some folk in charge clinging to the old way of doing things.
There were only two pilots.
I did read one profile on her which showed she had a lot of very close female “friends” - so I suspect there is a lesbian angle.
Otherwise why scrub it.
