Sen. Lisa Murkowski Panics Over Accountability to Voters for Blocking Trump’s Cabinet Picks: ‘Don’t Get on Santa’s Naughty List or We Will Primary You’

Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) expressed deep concerns about facing accountability for her opposition to Trump’s cabinet nominees, during her participation in the controversial No Labels National Meeting.

Her remarks, dripping with alarm and self-pity, laid bare her growing fear of primary challenges from conservative voters fed up with RINO lawmakers undermining the MAGA agenda.

Senators who attended the event are:

Bill Cassidy (R-LA) Susan Collins (R-ME) John Curtis (R-UT) Tim Kaine (D-VA) Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) Thom Tillis (R-NC) Todd Young (R-IN)

[snip]

“My friend Joni Ernst, who is probably one of the more conservative, principled Republican leaders in the Senate right now, is being hung out to dry for not being good enough, and you’re going to get primary. Well, what’s this all about? Why are we doing this to ourselves?

The Murk’s got a score of 45 herself, so to her Ernst looks conservative!

No Labels. Like a piece of clothing with no label: you have no idea what size it is, what is is made from, where it was manufactured, how to care for it or how expensive it is.

“Joni Ernst is a full-fledged RINO.”

She certainly is! And remember how conservative she was when campaigning. I believe the Democrats and GOPe get together and “create” and fund these candidates who pretend to be conservative. They sometimes even speak out against the candidate as “too conservative” in order to get voters to put them in office.

Immediately upon taking office, the now elected representative starts moving to the left and supporting the uni-party. The GOPe leadership starts praising them and giving them the most important committee assignments. We celebrate until the first betrayal and then doubt starts creeping in. By the time we realize we have been snookered, they are starting their second or third term in office.

They all rushed out to approve anything Biden wanted, including his Cabinet and Judges.

They approved all his crazy spending. The GOP in the Senate absolutely loved Joe Biden.

Yup, and if you look at the total votes, they want us to believe that more people were interested in RCV (ballot measure #2-321,000 total votes) than a minimum wage increase (ballot measure #1-316,000 total votes).
There was a 4k vote lead to repeal after all precincts reported, the, miraculously, 15 days later, RCV stays.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but she was primaried once or twice, but she still won because of ranked choice voting system, a system the citizens up there almost voted out. As long as that’s in place, she’ll never lose.

An example will need to be made.
Wendigo face Murkowski seems like a good starting point.

Tim Scott endorsed Murkowski against her more attractive, and conservative, opponent when she ran last time.

That told me the Scott is just another McConnell/RINO acolyte.

Like the senators can’t figure it out. Vote the right way dip shits or you’re done. You don’t get to run as a conservative and vote as a liberal anymore. 300 billion dollars, Elon musk pissed about transgenderism and other economic issues hanging out with the most consequential political figure since Lincoln scares the hell out of 100 percent of senators.

Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) expressed deep concerns about facing accountability for her opposition to Trump’s cabinet nominees...

I mean, Gawd forbid Murkowski having to be held accountable by the voters of Alaska.

Is Murkowski ignorant or just plain stupid?

Maybe both, maybe neither. But she is definitely a naked opportunist and narcissist.

I am SO sorry/embarrassed by the people on that list that are from Maine.
Collins
King
Golden

We tried hard, but Maine has that !@$%^&!! “Ranked” voting,
and look who we are stuck with.
(Janet Mills too, UGH!!
She could at least TRY to look like a government official!)

She dresses like a bag lady, and
can’t seem to put down her bottle
of Poland Spring water for a freaking minute!!??
Looks like “dry drunk” behavior to me!

We also get J. Golden again.
I respect and thank him for his service, but
if it wasn’t for that cursed rank choice
voting he would be unemployed.

Still, President Trump won, and I am over the moon about that!
rant/off

The 2023 deal that former GOP leader McCarthy made is why the federal debt is now over 36.1T and rising over 0.3T per month now. It’s for betrayals like this that I do not trust Trump. He should have held the line at 20.0T in early 2017. Now he has DOGE, Homan, Kash, and a lot of other promising plans. But we won’t know for sure until he gets in and makes action. One thing he needs to do is make sure that any Agency not getting someone he appoints put in place gets shut down on all funding (and no back pay possible) until the Senate confirms their leader. Doing this will require him to use the veto pen in case enough RINOs force the issue. He needs to show as much backbone as he did when he got up and raised his fist in Butler after narrowly escaping death.

At least she didn’t have to worry about this when they tried to block Biden’s choices, or Obamas. Because they didn’t try to do that to them, only Trump.

Not if you flood, overwhelm it and find a way to outsmart it! There has to be a way no one has thought about.
