It has got increasingly smokey as the day progressed, we figured it was a local (Oakley) small fire on the delta but it appears the smoke is coming from the Sacramento area (Excelsior fire) over an hour away. I just looked at CalFire and damn….

14 ONGOING FIRES RIGHT NOW…. . . EXCELSIOR FIRE: 800+ Acres -0% contained

POINT FIRE: 550+ Acres -15% contained

HERNANDEZ FIRE: 642 Acres -35% contained

POST FIRE: 14,625 Acres -2% contained

WEST FIRE: 300+ Acres -unknown containment

Heavy rains the past 2 winters have caused vegetation to bloom

So it might be a bad fire season
