funny how the fires stop at the state lines
It’s summer.
California is on fire.
Situation normal...........
The last 2 fire seasons have been tame
(Notice how that isn’t from climate change though)
Heavy rains the past 2 winters have caused vegetation to bloom
(Notice how heavy rains ending the drought isn’t from climate change either)
So it might be a bad fire season
(Which will get blamed on climate change)
On que?
That’s not English. It’s Spanish for what.
Maybe they were looking for the word queue. But that would be wrong also.
Cue. The word is cue. Any 5th grader could tell you that.
All the “naturalists” pretending that fire is bad.
“Right on cue”...
Editors aren’t what they used to be.
This is what comes from failing to maintain firebreaks and not preemptively felling old growth timber because it gets you the tree-hugger vote.
The Post Fire actually turned our sun Orange yesterday afternoon here in La Verne....
Another year of air pollution across the country to coerce us into accepting climate change initiatives. Each media instance of blaming fires on global warming inspires a thousand more pyrophilacs with confidence that if they set fires, the fires will be attributed to global warming and not them. It does worsen just about every year with the unhealthy air quality and crazy venusian sunsets. But it’s not global warming.
Two straight years of significantly higher than average rainfall (thanks El Nino). You think that would lead to a much larger than normal fuel load and a more active fire season? Why yes. That repeating pattern used to be called weather. But now it’s ‘extreme’ weather caused by climate change.
