Entirely true except I'd like to nitpick. My parents weren't Boomers. Like the Beatles, they were the "Silent Generation" --born during WWII, not after it.

However, they've pretty much been rolled up with the Baby Boomers as far as historical demographics are concerned.

what’s wrong with cargo shorts? I wear them and I’m definitely a Gen Xer. I pocket carry (inside the wasteband is too uncomfortable). The side pockets on cargo shorts are perfect for this. I can’t wear jeans unless I’m also wearing a jacket so I can stuff by gun into a jacket pocket.

Oh by the way as a Gen Xer, I did not drive drunk and never considered going to a rave (I hate dancing) and never took ecstasy.

I’d say more typical is we’ve always been cynical and distrustful of a lot of the BS shoveled our way by the establishment...ie the media, Hollywood and college profs. We were right to be skeptical.

Well, my Zoomer son is quite conservative in his outlook.

Of course, he never set foot in a public school until he enrolled at Colorado School of Mines, where he is a sophomore pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering.

And I have four young men working for me who are all hard-working, personable, and conscientious. They were all home-schooled and regular church-goers.
