Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Keith Richards is celebrating two new milestones -- his 80th birthday and his 40th wedding anniversary.
The Rolling Stones guitarist turned 80 years old on Monday and also marked 40 years of marriage with his wife, Patti Hansen.
The Rolling Stones honored Richards with a tribute on social media.
"Happy birthday to the one and only @officialKeef! Wishing you the most special of days Keith! Keep on rocking," the post reads.

This is my favorite picture of Keith Richards, 78 years ago. Looks like he was “so hard to handle” even at age 2.

Rush Limbaugh's favorite Stones tune was 'A Saint of Me.' It's a fascinating song when you look at it. Jagger seems to have a deeper take on the meaning of Christianity than most Christians do.

I love ‘Angie’... definitely one of their best ballads... Mick’s vocal is amazing.
My parents wouldn’t let me buy ‘Goats Head Soup’ when I was a kid... they were sure the devil was going to come right out of that album cover and possess me.. heh..

Happy birthday, Keith.
I know, it's only rock 'n' roll, but I like it

“Angie” has always been my favorite. A lot going on there musically.
“Give me Shelter”
“Like a Rainbow” are notable
Their cover of “Ain’t to Proud to Beg” is fantastic.

There’s a Rolling Stones song I’ve only heard once, on an adult alternative station – WXPN some years ago.
It was bluesy, funky and upbeat and sounded more like Dr. John than the Stones. The station kept a playlist of every song they played and that’s how I learned it was a Rolling Stone song, but I can’t remember the name of it now and it’s been driving me crazy.
The closest I can find is Casino Boogie but I don’t think that’s it.
Any ideas?

You’re the second to mention ‘Angie.’ ... I agree a lot going on inside... like that beautiful acoustic guitar work that Mick Taylor is doing in back of the vocals... just beautiful.

Thanks.. the concert was actually in September of 1975... in Sacramento. So that fits the timeline... I remember knowing at the time that Woods had already joined the Stones.

Living to the age of 80 while living a rock and roll lifestyle means that you have some of the best genes in the world.
Happy Birthday Keith!
