Newly elected Speaker Mike Johnson isn’t a tough man to figure out. Nor is he scary, except to those who don’t have the best interest of the United States at heart. Johnson lives by the teachings of the Bible, pure and simple.
He also wants the best for this nation. This makes him an enemy of the Democratic Party and the establishment media, who ultimately want the opposite and have been working hard to meet that goal.
Johnson’s sudden promotion is a sign of failure to the left. It signifies their inability to oust God from society and shows them to be the liars that they are. The threat he poses is matched by the vicious words the Democratic National Committee used to welcome Johnson onto the scene, calling him an anti-abortion, MAGA extremist at the start.
(snip) Curiosity about him at an all-time high, Johnson shared the yardstick by which all issues could be measured. “I am a Bible-believing Christian. … Go pick up a Bible off your shelf and read it – that’s my worldview. That’s what I believe, and so I make no apologies for it.”

Nothing will turn voters off faster than him pushing a religious agenda.

Sorry to say, but God always wins. The steep decline of American believers is what got us to where we are today. Matters not what the secularists, atheists and lukewarms “ believe “, I am with 110 percent with what is holy, righteous and clean.
……and that is not Biden’s America today….their is a huge price to pay for turning our backs on God.
I stopped listening to Hannity several years ago, much as so many people at FR have done. He became a victim of his own press as his head became bigger and bigger. The truth is that his show was only a success because it aired on radio just after Rush’s three hours. He always talks over his guests, even those who have breaking news to share.
It never fails that just before an invited guest (who has waited for five minutes to speak while Hannity takes four minutes to ask a simple question) is about to make their point, he interrupts and announces “time is up”, then he goes on a rant telling the audience how smart he is.
Hannity’s fake routine of insisting he has “inside” information and that something would happens soon became old real quick after the election of 2020. Why was that information he supposedly have never released? Who was directing him at that time? Has anyone ever asked him?
How many “conservative” radio talk show hosts are actually just the “controlled opposition” directed by the left/government?
What kind of smelly zealot are you?
Hannity is a Catholic. They don’t read the Bible. They let other guys tell them what’s in it and what to do.
Get outta here with that nonsense. Hannity is a shallow idiot. You think he could identify who the little horn in Daniel 7 is? He’d be shocked to find out.
What Catholics and other Christians believe is stated in the Apostles and Nicene creeds, which were written by the early and Catholic church. Most all Christians would agree with these creeds. Division among Christian comes down to interpretation of scripture or the meaning and context of words in scripture. Further difficulty is that English bibles are a transliteration of the original Greek & Aramaic. Further difficulty is our lack of understanding of the parochial 1st century Jewish mind.
Let's be careful to not discount another's faith in Christ when they lack our understanding of scripture or are more carnal than we'd like. Let us (all Believers) pray one for another.
Satan loves to pit us all against each other.
Good response!
If they refer to themselves as Evangelical Christians, they’ve been imbibing anti-Catholic vitriol non-stop. Till it comes out their pores. IOW, no need to ask them how they feel!
“Nothing will turn voters off faster than him pushing a religious agenda.”
He of course didn’t say that.
He simply stated how his values are formed.
He was asked how he forms his worldview. He answered the question honestly. How is that “pushing a religious agenda”?
Also He (Jesus) spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’ And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be [a]humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” - Luke 18: 9-14
Point well taken. That being said, the great Anti Christ is a religious system and after studying this for decades, I know who and what this religious system is. Her wound has healed the world will again marvel after her. In fact, last week our President and the head of this system spoke aobut the wars......just to make sure they are on the same page.
It’s right out of Revelation 13. God has his people in every church .......we are talking about a system though.
That’s Gonna Leave a Mark.
“Having a Biblical worldview” does not mean “pushing a religious agenda”.
however, telling someone to ‘go read a Bible’ does...
‘We are not a secular theocracy you know.’
we are not ‘supposed’ to be any kind of theocracy...
“we are not ‘supposed’ to be any kind of theocracy...”
_______________
Some people believe we should behave like a secular theocracy, devoted to an atheist neopaganism.
Hardly what our Constitution guarantees.
