Reuters and Life News are reporting that Justice Sonia Sotomayor has a “sense of despair” and sadness when she thinks of recent Supreme Court decisions. Although she didn’t outright mention the Dobbs Decision returning abortion law to the States, she is a well-known abortion defender. Justice Sotomayor is a fan of killing babies.

From LifeNews, here is the reporting:

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor expressed a “sense of despair” and sadness Wednesday about recent decisions by the conservative-majority court, including the Dobbs v. Jackson abortion case.

Sotomayor and two other justices dissented in the historic June ruling, which overturned Roe v. Wade and began allowing laws to protect unborn babies from abortion again. Research estimates at least 10,000 unborn babies were saved from abortions just in the first two months.

Speaking at the Association of American Law Schools’ annual meeting in San Diego, Sotomayor said she feels “deeply sad” about the new direction of the court, according to Reuters.

“I did have a sense of despair about the direction my court was going,” the Obama appointee said.

Although she did not mention the Dobbs case specifically, Sotomayor talked about feeling “shell-shocked” and “deeply sad” about recent rulings, adding: “It’s not an option to fall into despair. I have to get up and keep fighting,” Reuters reports

Perhaps when she goes to meet her maker, Sonia will have a chance to see the millions of holy innocents her position helped to dispatch. Along with being shown all of the medical and societal cures which got snuffed out with the aborted babies who would have worked on them.

If they make a movie of her life, I hope Brendan Fraser gets the lead role.

She would do well to talk to her colleague:

While he did not directly refer to the leak of the draft opinion striking down Roe v. Wade, first published by Politico, he referred to the “unfortunate events” of this week.

“It bodes ill for a free society,” he said, adding that the court “can’t be an institution that can be bullied into giving you just the outcomes you want.”

Thomas noted that as a society, “we are becoming addicted to wanting particular outcomes, not living with the outcomes we don’t like,” Reuters reported.

Deal with it.

> Justice Sonia Sotomayor has a “sense of despair” and sadness <

I was going to say that Sotomayor should then resign for her own good. But scratch that. Biden would probably replace her with someone even worse.

So here’s my advice instead for Sonia: Avoid further mental anguish by simply not taking part in any future decisions. Don’t get involved. Vote “present” instead. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Justice Sotomayor is currently the Justice deciding whether to restore a stay on the New York law, passed in emergency session, with the avowed purpose of cancelling the Supreme Court decision in Bruen. Bruen is a landmark decision in the restoration of rights protected by the Second Amendment in the United States.

Sotomayer was one of three dissenters in Bruen.

But she cannot be happy with the blatant disrespect shown to the Supreme Court by then New York Governor Hochul and the New York Legislature.

We all had that feeling of despair when you were appointed by Obummer.

I’d strongly urge her to resign if if weren’t for the existence of the current administration.

she is already older than most type 1 diabetes live.

I just hope she holds on until a Republican president and then keels over on inauguration day.

I wonder what kind of diet she means doing and if it’s nutritionally sound or just a bunch of junk/processed food.

I thought it might be about the election law cases they are hearing today in their case conference. 2 of ‘em, and SCOTUS is nervous about the Commies packing it with more Communists.

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor expressed a “sense of despair” and sadness...

The "wise latina" should be wrapping burritos in a food truck down along the border in El Paso.

Sotomayor is a f*cking disgrace as a SCOTUS justice.
