Despite all the talk about disney, Hollywood, media, war, biden, putin, Rihanna, slapping, masking etc
Maybe we can have some fun today
What is the worst movie you ever watched?
I can agree some movies are so bad that they are funny, certainly you can include those too.
Dark Star (1974) is a John Carpenter student film. It cost $60k and is hilarious. The song Benson Arizona is touching. YMMV
There’s a hilarious Seinfeld episode relative to that. 😏
The Big Lebowski
Burning Man with Nicholas Cage.
Manos, Hands of Fate ... truly unwatchable
MST3K version? Hilarious!
Master of Disguise.
“The Legend of Lylah Clare”
I’ve seen so many bad movies, I don’t know where to begin.
How about The Guy From Harlem?
When I was in college in the sixties, we would gather on saturday night to watch Shock Theater. We would drop off our dates, get some more beer, maybe a pizza in time to watch at 1 AM.
I forget the name but there was a movie about fungus that grew in an abandoned mine. It would fall from the ceiling and trap those who entered in. The plot was better than the acting. After watching the movie, a fraternity brother confided that the script was written by an uncle who was in prison for embezzlement. The uncle had lots of time on his hand so he wrote scripts for cheap movies.
Plan Nine from Outer Space. So bad you couldn’t look away.
That’s a tough one, there are so many to choose from......................
Can’t remember how to make the link work: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ICJWABld8ZU
Every movie with Ben Affleck in it. 😆
“Batman and Robin.”
Absolute dreck.
You mean WICKER Man?....................
From Wikipedia: "The movie was filmed without a soundtrack (I've read other sources which say the soundtrack was lost). Narration, voice-overs and some sound effects were added in post-production. To avoid having to synchronize the audio to the picture, characters speak only when their faces are either off-screen or not clearly visible due to darkness or distance. Likewise, during scenes in which firearms are used, the muzzles of the guns are usually out of shot when the weapons are fired. During scenes of gunplay, many characters appear at first to have suffered life-threatening bullet wounds, only to appear in later scenes fully recovered with no visible signs of having been wounded. Extensive narration is used in lieu of plot points being conveyed through dialogue."
