Victoria Police are a disgrace.
They roam safe streets in groups of five when there is absolutely no public danger or crime happening, while there are not enough nurses in hospitals or teachers in schools.
They are arrogant or stupid. Or, at best, ashamed of what they are.
When they commit crimes against people (false imprisonment, assault, perjury, to mention a few), they are rarely held to account. They dont get charged with these crimes and put on trial but are the beneficiaries of secretive "professional standards" investigations.
Australia was a strong creative much freer society but ridiculous progressive misuse of police has made Australians into weak sheep and very easy pickings for China if American power collapses when chronic budget deficits hit home.
The police are part of the problem.

Sadly yes, they are, although I still believe that most police officers deserve our respect for a difficult job.
But it's scary to watch what's happening in Australia, Canada, and the United States and to realize that it doesn't take much to push a country into totalitarianism with police and press support.
Socialist governments are more interested in the police enforcing their will than having them fight crime.
You guys had a federal response (alot of discretion left to individual state premieres). Who didn’t go off the rails? I’ve been surprised by how heavy handed WA has been. Victoria is in an entirely different league though.

Most police suck, bunch of high school bullies with little brains. Yes there are good ones but few and far between.
As far as I know, that is allowed here. Maybe instead of clicking “everything” be a little more choosy. Or you could try and get a life.
I give credit to Humble Gunner. He knows how to say something upsetting, a useful skill when trying to figure out why Apollo 1 crashed in 1967. Everyone needed to toughen up and find the mistake among 3 million parts.
