Hello FRers.
Please pray for my husband today. Suddenly a health issue seems to have appeared and he is alone (sort of) far away.
Nurse friend said he needed to go to ER, so he is going. She is concerned over even heart attack, but also some concern over spleen or kidney.
This morning early he calls me and says he had a bad nite and was thinking of the hospital. Awoke around 12 with stabbing pains in flank (left). Very bad and it kept going. Kept him up all nite. Then after we talked he suddenly got nauseous from bending. But it subsided within the half hour. The flank pain was lesser but still very sore.
He was very upset but also wanted to keep on his realty appt.
He is now at the ER after our nurse friend heard about it and said that's what he should do. I cancelled the realtor.
Apparently his cousin was not allowed to go in with him so I'm guessing they still have these asinine COVID restrictions, which is psychologically depressing and scary.
Please pray for him!
We even have a tournament all weekend for our son's basketball team! So he's felt all kinds of dilemma over this!
But pray for his health, please!
prayers for your husband. A first name would be nice.
Prayers up for your husband. May this be a temporary and short lived incident and may he be pain free and back to you shortly!
Oh his name is Richie! (Yes, Richie, not that standard name!)

prayer offered
Praying here Maybe appendx?
Prayers up.
The ER is the best place for those symptoms.
Sounds like a kidney stone.
Here’s to a swift recovery for your husband.
🙏
Lord Jesus be with your people, protect, and heal them.
That’s lower right. So, that’s good.
Left flank, with nausea sounds like a heart issue. It’s always best to get to the ER with any sharp pain in that area.
If it makes any difference, "This morning early he calls me and says he had a bad nite and was thinking of the hospital. Awoke around 12 with stabbing pains in flank (left)." sounds to me like a kidney stone.
I've had both a heart attack and kidney stones severe enough to require surgery. The kidney stones were much more painful and the pain lasts a very long time.
Prayers up!
Prayers up.
Absolutely will pray!
Is Deep Vein Thrombosis a consideration?
What are DVT and PE, and how are they related?
DVT is a blood clot in a deep vein, usually in the leg, thigh, or pelvis, and can also occur in the arm.
A PE is a blood clot in the lungs and is the most serious condition that can be caused by DVT. This happens when a DVT clot, or part of it, breaks off and travels through the bloodstream to the lungs, reducing or cutting off blood supply. This can be deadly.
The behavior yes partly makes me think of that - except it’s left side, which is more in line with “spleen”. Same kind of problems can happen.
Get well, and Good Luck to your husband.
