House arrest for nine months, careers and dreams imploding all around you, relieved only by the odd Zoom call, isn’t exactly my idea of fun—or anyone else’s. Yet you’d never guess that listening to anyone with political power this year (aside from the few remaining non-useless Republicans).
For months, these strange, power-mad robots have evinced zero indication they have any clue what it might feel like to be an actual human (with mouths to feed) suddenly placed under house arrest, forbidden from earning a living, stopped from pursuing activities which support his sense of identity, cut off from most (or all) social contact, fed reams of misinformation he knows is misinformation, and severed from a huge source of meaning in human life—namely, culture.
I’m not here arguing against the measures themselves (I will some other time). I am pointing out the inhuman indifference shown by the Lockdown Leviathans to the psychological, emotional, spiritual, and familial costs those measures have imposed, and continue to impose, upon their suffering subjects.
There is simply no sign they care....

Either that or we do not know their true motivation is. What we do know is that they are not doing this to safeguard their citizens. That, for sure, is not the motivation at play here.

Most of these @ssholes would win in a landslide if they ran for re-election tomorrow. That tells me they govern in places where there isn’t much human spirit left to kill.
Looking on the bright side: if they convince you to commit suicide, it saves them the trouble of murdering you later.

The claim is that we are in a public health emergency. This public health emergency is due to a virus which has well over a 99% survival rate. Some people get this virus and don’t even know they had it. The vast majority who get it do not need to be hospitalized.
The powers that be have acted as if this virus the return of the bubonic plague or smallpox.
At a bare minimum, no government employees should get a paycheck when lockdown is in effect.

I was in downtown Detroit 12/23 or 12/24 and have never seen so many forlorn, hopeless looking citizens with signs asking for help at stop lights. Many said, “family to feed, please help. god bless.” It was chilly out. They were bundled up in raggedy looking clothes. It was very depressing, disturbing.
Sounds like a good assignment for an independent reporter to give themselves: Go to a downtown area, preferably one they have covered before and is part of their “beat,” so to speak, and interview people — both the people who never had to ask for help like this before and people who still work downtown who can speak to the changes they have seen over the past 9 months.
I did talk to 2 of them. They both mentioned the lockdown lunatic governor of our state. Next time I go down, I’m thinking of taking a go pro or some other device as long as the pitiful person agrees to be recorded.

WRONG, most Anons believe that there is a group of compromised people in all manner of control. The source of the comp could be money, pedo, or other “strange” beliefs or ways that they can be or are manipulated.
What I hear from them is mostly that the worst thing is death. I would argue that it’s actually depression. Because when you’re depressed you don’t think clearly and you’re lonely even with other people inside your own household. Second problem is that if you’re not a white collar worker or government employee, you don’t have as much of an option to stay at home. You go elsewhere to the site of you’re a plumber, HVAC, Electrician, etc.
