...In 2014, Mauritania passed a law criminalizing slavery but according to The Global Slavery Index, the country still has 90 000 slaves, which represents more than 2 percent of the population of this Islamic republic in West Africa.
Those enslaved are darker-skinned Haratin, while their owners are lighter-skinned Moors...

There could be Free Mauritanian Slaves demonstrations/peaceful protests.
Think about it.
Nothing to see here...
They gonna get reparations too?
Saying that on Twitter or FaceBook would get you banned. Truth will not be tolerated on those platforms.
I swear if I could only get there I’d have a quiet riot....
My Father crossed the Atlantic during WWII on the SS Mauritania. It was fast enough that it sailed without escort.
In the meantime, we can sell them Antifa.
$10/dozen would be a great price. You could get like two eggs per Antifa at today’s prices.
Why not have a “quiet riot” in this country over this?
I’m serious.
1) Church services are not allowed in some states and strongly discouraged in others.
2) William Wilberforce praised God by fighting against slavery, so have many others in history, both famous and unknown.
3) BLM and Antifa are allowed to have protests and encouraged to do so. And the latter is arguably demonic and needs to be countered by the sublime.
4) Peaceful protests are supposedly “allowed” in the age of the ‘rona whereas other outside things, such other things, such as tag football, are not allowed in many places.
5) Politically incorrect peaceful protests on such things as opening up the economy are not allowed or are strongly discouraged.
Where would a peaceful protest against the slavers of Mauritania rate? Would be interesting to see this.
And don’t the slaves of Mauritania deserve to have attention put on their plight?
What would happen if 1000 people showed up at a statehouse demonstrating on behalf of their plight, especially since this issue has not been on anyone’s radar screen.? Would it startle peoople?
What would happen if Twitter banned people’s posts about it and videos from it, especially if these people posted about their banned posts on other platforms?
What would be the response of your neighbors or people in your church, particularly if they are afraid to attend inside church services, if you asked/challenged them to go downtown to an open air demonstration to help the slaves of Mauritania?
“An estimated 90 000 slaves in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania today..”
We have a whole bunch of them here who think they are still slaves and want to be paid for it. Can you handle it?
Ha ha ha! Great Idea!
Gee, that’s not even a drop in the bucket compared to China.
Slave labor, along with child labor still makes most of the menial goods we Americans buy from them. But don’t worry, the NBA gives their hearty approval.
For your interest, seems it’s alive and well.
Waiting...
Waiting...
Waiting...
Good Grief
Some things about the 80’s need to stay in the past.
