I lost my wife to her second bout withcancer in 2016 (liver and bone). She refused to tell her friends and our kids until the last week. They would have given anything to be able to spend a few more weeks with her, rather than being told at the end. I hope Justice Ginsberg thinks of her family first. She should retire and spend whatever time’s left with her family, who love her. (I’m serious, and not making a joke.)

SOMETHING TO MENTALLY PICTURE

I posted a while back that after her demise, Ruth Vader Ginsburg will be stuffed, she will be dressed in her robe and she will be propped up in her wheelchair like Mother Bates in Hitchcock's movie, "Psyscho"....and she will continue to sit in the wheelchair and vote by raising a desiccated finger as she remains en banc in the Supreme Courtroom...still voting radical till the end of time.

I hope she does not suffer much. Would be nice if she retires after the election.

She has accomplished her objective. She has lived long enough to push any potential replacement past the election.

Let’s hope Trump wins and the Republicans retain the Senate.

My wife had pancreatic cancer.

The way it usually works is that first surgeries (if there ARE any—only 20% qualify) get the cancer out of the pancreas and the surrounding lymph nodes. Her cancer was in the lower part of the pancreas. That is the best place to get it.

After the first rounds of treatment (usually six months) that will generally kill or suppress any cells that might have migrated.

As discovery of lesions in the liver means that the pancreatic cancer has spread throughout the upper digestive tracts. Since the cells that were still alive after the FIRST flight of chemo, a second type is usually used.

The second type is usually not the most effective (because if it were MORE effective they would use it first!)

Spreading to the liver is bad because the liver and digestive systems are so tied into the blood and food processing systems. That is the superhighway for cancer. My guess, if that she probably will see it pop up in other areas—stomach, intestine, head of the pancreas.

PC is a bitch because it comes on with almost no warning, and because of its location it is hard to diagnose—and it is involved with so many organs.

I know more about this stuff after a year. The treatments are getting MUCH better over the past 18-24 months. But the prognosis is still measured in low double digits over five years.

A lot more than you probably wanted to know.

In short—likely the same cell types in a different organ.

I’m not going to be an inhuman monster like the Leftists. I wish her well in her (inevitably losing) effort to fight cancer...with her family. At age 87 and sick, it is way passed time for her to retire and spend time with her family.

Dying by liver cancer / liver failure is quite painful. I’ve seen it a couple of times. It’s quite sobering.

Statistically speaking her survival of liver cancer this long is incredible. I think the clock has finally run out.

Though I would not bet against her lasting through the election. If you want to call what’s coming up an election

By announcing this, she is signalling the Left that they reallly need to elect Joe Senile.

If she checks out before the election that will ramp up the vote fraud to “ludicrous speed”.

The reason for that is that the first round of treatment takes out all of the “weak cells.” This includes hair cells, your bone marrow—any fast growing cell.

A strong circulating cancer cell can put out 250,000 replicates in a day. Most bodies can kills most of them in a few minutes.

But it literally takes one cell that is “immune” to the chemo to survive, hiding somewhere, to put out enough cells to cause a recurrence somewhere else. Then you have to find a treatment that goes after the STRONGER cancer in a body that has already been ravaged.

Too bad she won’t live long enough to see the realization of her lifetime dream—to watch straight white males lined up in rows and forced into boxcars...

She should have retired but at this point it doesn’t matter. The Court is not in session until Fall, and I seriously doubt she’ll be round by then.

Mrs. Dayglored is being treated for severe multiple myeloma (bone cancer), and the side effects of the chemo are very rough. So I can only imagine how rough it is on someone age 87 who has battled cancer continuously for many years. I'm astonished RBG hasn't thrown in the towel long since.

So although I disagree with RBG on most matters political and social, I am impressed by her courage and persistence in the face of these multiplying health problems. Even acknowledging that it is motivated by wanting to outlive Trump's presidency, I gotta give her credit for sheer tenacity.

I just wish she would retire and spend her remaining time with her family and God. She and we all would be better off.
