I take Vitamin D3 5000mg daily.
We’re already taking 10,000 IU per day, since March. Easy enough to do, and my nutritionist says it’s not an overdose.
Getting out in the sun should help a little, don’t you think?
Id also add regular cardio exercise which Ive read has major implications as well
Everyone should know their D3 level...docs should test...level should be 60-80...I take @10,000iu daily...my recent labwork said level is 72...I’ve been preaching to my family for years @ vit d3...need to take Vit K with D3
I take no vitamins. Just eat lot of seasonal fruits and vegetable. I am past age 80, and have zero health problems.
I am avoiding covid-19 by keeping my lungs in tip-top shape with daily aerobic exercise on a treadmill. Already had probably a mild attack of covid-19 from the cruise in Feb-March. My body fought it off and the strange dry cough was gone in a couple of weeks without any treatment. Probably acquired some immunity in the process.
I didn’t watch the whole video but I was already absolutely convinced it’s vital.
My level is 70.
IMO Vit D screening needs to be done on a much wider basis, such as at yearly checkups, if you have one.
But there are also commercial tests where you prick your finger and send it in.
I think that is a better combination than taking high dosage pills.
Vitamin D3, Zinc and 3 times a day 1000mg of vitamin (3000mg Vitamin C)
I take a large combination of Vitamin D3, Vitamin A and Vitamin C Daily.
If i want to buy groceries it go to bank I have to wear a mask in my State. Low vit D runs in my family. I am type A blood. I got covid in April. Lost smell and taste, no appetite. Sick in bed 2 weeks.
Been taking my D3 and Zinc with a dose of C and B12 for months now.
I work in a “high risk” environment.
B12 cause somebody posted a story about B12 and Tinnitus....after a month it seems to be going away..
gonna keep taking them all till i die i see no reason why not...
Quite interesting & worth your time if you’re interested in the connection between low Vit D levels & COVID-19:

Vitamin D for influenza
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4463890/
Excerpt (last 2 paragraphs):
The Institute of Medicine recommendation for adults younger than 70 years of age is 600 IU of vitamin D daily. We are told that this would achieve a level of 50 nmol/L in greater than 97.5% of individuals.6 Regrettably, a statistical error has resulted in erroneous recommendations by the Institute of Medicine leading to this conclusion and it might actually take 8800 IU of vitamin D to achieve this level in 97.5% of the population.7 This is a serious public health blunder.
A colleague of mine and I have introduced vitamin D at doses that have achieved greater than 100 nmol/L in most of our patients for the past number of years, and we now see very few patients in our clinics with the flu or influenzalike illness. In those patients who do have influenza, we have treated them with the vitamin D hammer, as coined by my colleague. This is a 1-time 50 000 IU dose of vitamin D3 or 10 000 IU 3 times daily for 2 to 3 days. The results are dramatic, with complete resolution of symptoms in 48 to 72 hours. One-time doses of vitamin D at this level have been used safely and have never been shown to be toxic.8 We urgently need a study of this intervention. The cost of vitamin D is about a penny for 1000 IU, so this treatment costs less than a dollar.
Anyone who is not getting at least 1000 -2000 IU of Vit D3 daily...is grossly uninformed
More by supplement if you are spending most time indoors!
And if you start to get symptoms- read up on Vitamin D hammer
Vitamin D 5000 IU per day is what I take.
Sunshine, Vitamin D, Multivitamin, Vitamin C ,and if I feel like something is trying to make me ill, tonic water & Zicam added to the above.
Some of us have been preaching this vitamin D information for 2 decades now. How it has not become common knowledge escapes me other than to say it would cost drug companies billions upon billions of dollars if accepted and dispersed in the medical community.
I’ve posted about vitamin D on social media in a few places and have gotten some flak. You know what they say, when you’re over the target you draw flak. I’m thinking vitamin D information could disrupt the left’s narrative. As Dr. Rhonda said in the video, 70% of people are deficient. My cynical nature almost wonders if this is planned.
Nice to see so many Freepers informed and supplementing with D. :)
Ping!
