The U.S. is at War With China and Peter Navarro Plans to do Something About it
DB Daily Update ^ | David Blackmon

Posted on 04/03/2020 4:07:44 AM PDT by EyesOfTX

Question of the day. – Why hasn’t President Trump invoked the Defense Production Act to force the New York Times and Washington Post to convert their facilities to produce toilet paper? It would be a very minimal conversion process.

“Never again…” – Peter Navarro, the director of trade and manufacturing policy, national Defense Production Act policy coordinator and just general all-around White House badass, made a statement at Thursday’s Coronavirus Task Force briefing that didn’t get a lot of attention from our clueless, corrupt news media. But it should have, because Peter Navarro doesn’t just say stuff to hear himself talk.

Here’s what he said, as quoted by the Washington Examiner:

“One of the things that this crisis has taught us is that we are dangerously overdependent on a global supply chain. For our medicines like penicillin, our medical supplies, masks, and our medical equipment like ventilators.

“Never again should we rely on the rest of the world for our essential medicines and countermeasures.”

The Food and Drug Administration, Navarro said, would have to greenlight medical manufacturing so that the U.S. can “leapfrog” other countries, “so we don’t have to compete against cheap sweatshop labor, lax environmental regulations, different tax regimes, and massive subsidies of foreign governments.”

[End]

Navarro’s pointed comments were a clear signal to the communist Chinese government and the rest of the world that the Trump Administration will be taking aggressive steps going forward to further de-link the U.S. economy from the Red Dragon with which Trump’s four predecessors worked so hard to entangle it. The clear significance of this flies right over the heads of our corrupt national news media because it does not fit neatly into their coordinated narrative with the Democrat Party.

The same was true of the incredible significance of Wednesday’s Task Force update, when President Trump brought in pretty much the nation’s entire senior military leadership to roll out the Administration’s plan to deploy U.S. military resources in fighting the war against drug imports into the United States from Mexico and South American destinations.

The few media outlets that bothered to file reports on this bit of news – CNN was too busy focusing on Fredo Cuomo’s imaginary fight against coronavirus, which is nothing more than a pathetic publicity stunt – characterized it as a fight against the “drug cartels.”

Here’s how the buffoons at the Associated Press led their story:

President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that Navy ships are being moved toward Venezuela as his administration beefs up counter-narcotics operations in the Caribbean following a U.S. drug indictment against Nicolás Maduro.

The president’s announcement was a break from the daily White House press briefing to discuss the coronavirus pandemic, which has left much of the country in lock-down and which the government warns could cause 100,000 to 240,000 deaths.

The mission involves sending additional Navy warships, surveillance aircraft and special forces teams to nearly double the U.S. counter-narcotics capacity in the Western Hemisphere, with forces operating both in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific. Esper said the mission would be supported by 22 partner nations.

“As governments and nations focus on the coronavirus there is a growing threat that cartels, criminals, terrorists and other malign actors will try to exploit the situation for their own gain,” said Trump. “We must not let that happen.”

[End]

So, it’s just another beefing-up in the fight against those nasty Latin-American cartels. Yawn. Nothing to see here – move along to Adam Schiff trying to mount another impeachment effort in the middle of a national crisis. That’s more fun, and fits our narrative of the day.

Look, what’s the major problem with imported drugs killing Americans today? If you said illegal imports of fentanyl, you win the prize. And while these drug cartels do serve as the conduit for most of that fentanyl, where does most of the supply of it originate?

Oh. That would be China. See, illegal drugs have a long supply chain just like the legal drugs. The Administration obviously has information that China is planning to coordinate with its allies in Latin America to ramp up the illegal drug trade and further weaken the U.S. during this time of crisis.

Folks, we are at war with China, and have been for quite some time. It was just a year ago that U.S. agents interdicted an illegal shipment of enough Chinese fentanyl to kill 57 million Americans. That was just one of many similar busts that have been made in recent years. The ChiCom government does pretty much nothing to stop these illegal shipments which have already addicted and/or killed millions of Americans, yet our major corporations just continue to ramp up their business entanglements with that country. Students of history will know that many, many major U.S. corporations in the 1930s had similar entanglements with Nazi Germany before World War II ended all of that.

Now we have an increasing body of evidence that the Wuhan Virus not only originated in China, but that the ChiCom government and World Health Organization coordinated with one another in a cover up while it was spread across the globe during November through January. That virus has already killed more than 5,000 Americans and promises to kill many thousands more.

When Mr. Navarro says, “Never again should we rely on the rest of the world for our essential medicines and countermeasures,” what he really means is that we should never again rely on China.

Again, your corrupt news media is too dimwitted to figure that out and report it accurately. Thus, expect them to all be shocked and surprised when the Trump Administration starts taking major actions to force the disentanglement of the U.S. economy from China’s in the coming months.

That is all.

“China plans to win this pandemic world war.”

I’m sure they do. Germany and Japan planned to win WWII. That didn’t work out quite the way they wanted it to.

“they have little to worry about from a new phase of the pandemic being launched in the West.”

I believe they have quite a bit to worry about. Virii aren’t easy to control once released. Poison gas is a good analogy. There’s no way they can completely seal their borders. It’s simply not possible. It’s also going to be very, very difficult to contain once it breaks out. And break out it will.

My money says they’re already dealing with a whole hell of a lot bigger problem than they’re admitting to. Communists lie. Not just to their people but to each other. Couple that with their obsession with not “losing face” and they’ll lie to each other. With nothing remotely resembling a free press there is no mechanism for internal feedback.

And if shit really goes south and a second wave of a different virus breaks out that can plausibly be traced back to China President Trump will smash them with every tool at his disposal. The American people will demand it.

The US Navy could close every single port in China inside of a week if he ordered it. It’s not possible to load ships when your port facilities are in ruins. Unrestricted naval warfare hasn’t happened since the 1940s. But just because we haven’t done it doesn’t mean we can’t do it.

The ChiComs do not want a shooting war with us. They know they’d lose and lose badly. They can rattle their nuclear saber, for sure. But our saber is a hell of a lot bigger and a hell of a lot sharper. If Trump ordered it the PLAN would cease to exist in days.

“A similar pattern would emerge across Africa.”

Let them have Africa. That continent will chew them up and **** them out just like it has every other nation that’s gotten entangled there for the last 200 years. The Chinese don’t have the lift capability to sustain anything long term if hostilities break out. Once the logistical train is broken all those ChicCom advisors will be running for their lives.

“The president of the Philippines has already announced he is eager to be “rescued” by China.”

Which I think would quickly come to resemble the Japanese rescue of the 1940s. Once the guerilla warfare started the ChiComs would have a very full plate. Between the restive muzzie population in the southern islands and a whole bunch of really pissed off ordinary Filipinos the Chinese would be dying like flies.

I don’t mean to seem overly optimistic but I don’t believe even the ChiComs are stupid enough to escalate this to Phase II. I am quite certain that there have been some very quiet but very, very serious discussions between Xi and President Trump on this subject already. Subtlety is not our President’s strong suit after all.

I have no doubt that they were developing bio weapons. I also have no doubt that Corona is one of them. But I don’t think this release was deliberate. Why would they let it go in Wuhan? Why not NYC or LA or Chicago or London?

I believe someone in China humped the bunk here. It got loose before it was perfected and it blew up in their faces. Now they’re playing hide the salami with the world. If Round 2 just happened to break out there is no way anyone would believe their denials.

The entire planet would isolate them no matter how much money and aid they toss around. Hell, half the crap they’re sending to help is defective. At this point no sane person trusts them. Nor should they.

Like I said I don’t want to be overly optimistic here. We are in for a long ugly slog for sure. But once we have a handle on things, and I do believe that day will come, the ChiComs will face a reckoning that will leave them holding a stick covered with crap at both ends.

That being said Clan L is quietly rounding out the few remaining deficiencies in our preps. This has been a good learning experience in that regard. While I’m optimistic I’m also not stupid. This thing could go south in the way you laid out and it could happen far faster than most folks think.

So a prudent man hopes for the best and plans for the worst.

One thing is that Mrs L is now fully apprised of the depths of our preps. She had some idea, of course. But now inventorying is a group effort. 15 years of effort laying in front of us is pretty I impressive. LOL.

“You got me body armor? Level IIIA? You do love me!”

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find IIIA body armor specifically made for women? Let alone a woman with a 42DD chest?

Damn, I’m good.

Take care, Matt. Don’t let the ankle biters dissuade you. Some of us here are paying close attention even if we don’t agree with you 100% of the time.

Best,

L

I stood up and cheered every word he said. That was a declaration of war on China IMO. About damn’ time. So glad President Trump saw Peter Navarro as being the exact right guy for the job. Every day our President makes me cheer America.

I don't think they would win it either. Just that they feel cornered and out of options, like the Japanese in 1941.

I am writing this up for a piece in American Partisan, but here is the end of it:

If Pandemic World War One goes in China’s favor, their plans will include sending “rescue and relief” ships to Ecuador which would be the basis and beachhead of Chinese control and colonization. A similar pattern would emerge across Africa, where Chinese infrastructure projects are already omnipresent. In the thrall of an accelerated pandemic, America and Europe would be too weak to oppose these Chinese “rescue missions.” The president of the Philippines has already announced he is eager to be “rescued” by China. And it’s worth mentioning that Chinese firms already control the container ports on both ends of the Panama Canal, as well as a gigantic new container port in Freeport, in the Bahamas. In fact, such Communist Chinese beachheads already exist around the world.

But China is only strong today because the West allowed it grow economically, due to our stupidity and greed for ever-cheaper consumer goods, and even our critical medical supplies. In the new environment of a global pandemic originating from China, that paradigm is over. Now China has no choice except to make regional military advances while it is able. If it does not, it will soon be in a strategic position similar to Japan in 1941 after harsh Western economic embargoes were imposed, particularly those which cut off Japanese access to American petroleum and iron.

The CCP has 1.4 billion Chinese mouths to feed, and they can’t begin feed them from within their own boundaries. China today is a hot-house flower factory after the greenhouse glass has been smashed and hail is coming down instead of sunshine. When the rest of the world radically dials back their imports from China, then China will soon be unable to feed itself. I believe that the CCP leadership realizes that they stand today poised on the hinge of history, and that they must make bold strategic moves while they still hold advantages which they may lose in the coming years.

If the CCP waits for America to recover economically and militarily, they will lose the pandemic world war. China’s current power results from their status as an exporting giant, and that will end with their emerging global pariah status. China is currently a manufacturing powerhouse, but it is an agricultural starvling, and to a great extent must rely on low-grade coal for energy, with resulting pollution and increasing levels of environmental degradation. As its export clients look elsewhere, China will rapidly shrink in power. In contrast, America is inherently a great continental power that can feed and power itself. America can manufacture anything its need. It stands to make a rapid economic recovery once the pandemic has run its course.

I believe that Pandemic World War One will transition into a war of economic embargo against China. Understanding this, the CCP has no choice other than to make bold strategic moves while they still can. A Western import embargo against China will result in their economic collapse, famine, massive nationwide riots, and ultimately a grass-roots revolution against the discredited Chinese Communist Party.

But until then, China will be a cornered dragon: wounded, trapped, desperate, and capable of almost unimaginably evil acts, including the release of new and even deadlier viruses in the West, in order to win Pandemic World War One.

China Is Preparing to Start a War with America

[excerpt]

I believe that China’s actions today may be telegraphing an intent we are choosing to ignore. They show all the signs of a nation preparing to attack America. China seeks a bespoke world run by China with “Chinese characteristics” — a dream that under Trump was drifting away.

China appears to be laying the groundwork for a “justified” attack on the United States, perhaps in the South China Sea or perhaps elsewhere. It will be a military attack, not an act of terrorism, and the excuse will be America’s deliberate transmission of COVID-19 in Wuhan.

When the Chinese became accusatory, it’s telling that they didn’t blame the CIA, always the usual suspect. No, they blamed it on American soldiers.

American military deliberately infecting China is an act of war worthy of a military response.

In October, the 2019 World Military Games were held in Wuhan. Chinese media triumphantly trumpeted the Americans winning just eight medals, while China won 239. It was then that we supposedly infected Wuhan citizens with the “American virus.”

China is now defenestrating foreign media, sending home reporters from the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Washington Post at just the opportune moment. No nation wants journalists around when it is planning a sneak attack.

And with its economy ravaged by Trump’s trade war and the virus shutdown, and now back at full production, while America’s economy is in total shutdown and in the grip of an active pandemic, there will never be a better time to attack.

Thinking back to WW2....when we cut the oil supplies to Japan they saw the handwriting on the wall and moved to secure those supplies.

I wonder IF we were to move to cut our dependence on China would there be a similar move by them against US?

If you really want to defeat China, you must first eliminate their source of power within our own country - the American politicians and the captive media they have purchased and owned for a generation. Both Democrat and Republican, they need to be forcibly removed from both position and American society outright, their media outlets forcibly closed.

China will not attack militarily, they have no ability to project power in that matter. They will use their American proxies - made unbelievably wealthy by selling out this country to China to achieve it - to rip us apart into Civil War so that we have no ability to stand against them.

If they do this it they’ll be signing their own death warrants. The US Navy would utterly destroy the PLAN in less than a week.

Japan and the ROK would immediately join us. And popular belief notwithstanding Japan could go nuclear in a week. So could ROK if they wanted to.
