Steve Forbes being interviewed on CNBC recently was asked about the possibility of President Trump being impeached. He said removal of Trump is “Not going to happen.” But after that he said something very interesting:
"The thing to watch for is what Attorney General Barr is gonna be releasing in the next few weeks in terms of his investigations of what was happening with the CIA, the FBI, and certain White House officials leading up to the 2016 election and afterwards. A LOT OF BAD THINGS WERE DONE. . . . "

Anyone remember the ridicule that President Trump endured when he said his phones were tapped? Now we have people proudly admit they were willing to “wear a wire” to get some dirt on him.
Yeah, I thought it was very odd, but Forbes seems sure of what he’s saying. He’s not the flashy, shoot-your-mouth-off type of guy either.
If Steve Forbes said this, I’ll take it at face value. The Dude is solid as a rock.
I think even DiGenova admitted that the major players in this scandal would not be held accountable (meaning jail time).
Its treason on a massive scale involving an entire political party and their half black president.
Of course, that will never be mentioned.

Since Halloween is almost here - why not use the analogy of Linus trying to convince Sally that the Great Pumpkin is real. Yeah. And he will be bringing indictments against the democrats to all who believe.
Scandals come and go but will there be any accountability demanded from the guilty parties?
I’ll only believe it if Hannity and Hoft say so.
Mere indictments of Hilary, Comey, McCabe, Brennan, Rice, Strzok, Page, Clapper, Simpson, Steele, Mifsud, Yates, and the Ohrs among others, would thrill me to no end.
Nobody can guarantee a conviction in court, but at least they would have been proved not to be above the law and had to face charges. It would fine with me if a few were bankrupted from court costs like Flynn was.
Just the press the MSM would have to engage in to cover all these trials would please me no end. They couldn’t flat out ignore reporting the indictments and the trials.
Hopefully the process would wake up a lot of middle voters and move them to the right.

For what it’s worth ... Steve Forbes lives across the road from Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ.
We all know the evil that was done. We also know that nobody will be held accountable.
Maybe he watches Hannity.
If it doesn't happen then our existence as a free nation governed by laws was all a mirage. If it is proven that it was/is a mirage, we will see a major breakdown in this country that may even overshadow the Civil War. Are you listening Bill Barr?
There’s skepticism, there’s cynicism, and there’s defeatism.
Skepticism is nearly always healthy. Cynicism much less so. Defeatism guarantees a whole range of bad outcomes, especially those of the self-fulfilling prophecy kind.
The level of defeatism here at FR gets pretty thick at times.
And if you feel like insulting me for this view, be advised I’m going to give you back 10x what you gave me. Don’t tell me I’m a cockeyed optimist or some naïve, wet-behind-the-ears kid. I was a reporter and editor for 25 years, so I think I have at least a little bit of news judgment left in the tank.
It’s not in our power to predict the future. But we’ve never had a president like Donald Trump before. I’m keeping my eye on the news, my mind open, and hope in my heart.
