Here, I argue that Hollywood is not using their innate and basic movie-making skills when pandering to their progressive causes. I argue that not only are they losing money in the process, but they are alienating their viewership base. I thus offer some suggestions to this end to prevent a hemorrhaging of the Hollywood profit model.
Ah. Hollywood.
So famous, and so taken for granted.
The more that I think about it, the more that I am convinced. Indeed, I am convinced that those in Hollywood have found a new profit model. As, it seems, the movies that they are releasing today do not follow the traditional profit model.
Traditional Hollywood Profit Model You know; you make a good movie, and people pay to watch it. If the movie is really good you get rich. If the movie is poor, you lose money.
Today, however, it seems that there is a totally different profit model being followed.
Contemporaneous Hollywood Profit Model Some wealthy oligarch gives you an enormous sum of money to promote some sort of social justice cause and you pocket the money. Whether the movie is popular or not has no bearing on the profit motive.
Yeah. That’s pretty much it. Isn’t it?
Hollywood has become a SJW propaganda arm. Listen to me.
It’s like a nightmare that no matter how hard you try to run, it never ends. It’s like wack-a-mole. As soon as you hear about one bout of obscenity, there pops up another. Ugh!

Good movies are good movies
Here’s a story from a director friend.
He knows these two guys who have had a good track record with kids shows. They went to Amazon to pitch their latest. I’ve seen the proposal. It’s got some interesting marketing tweaks, but otherwise, it’s a kids show.
The woman they pitched to said “We’re not accepting anything from white males. The era of Aryan supremacy is over.” (Quote!)
She then went on to tell about Amazon’s planned kids shows, every one of which featured homosexual/lesbian kids.
Hollywood is made up of substance abusers and the mentally ill. Which helps with acting but kills your logic.
Die, Hollywood, Die!
Its my understanding that the money is now made in the foreign markets, the domestic market not so much.
In the 30s, Hollywood kissed Hitler’s ass, because they wanted to keep their access to the German film market.
So there’s precedent!
I realized all this in the early 1990’s. But welcome to the party anyway pal. You cannot pay me to watch these things nowadays. The moving jittery camera trick should have been the clue that a good product was not priority number one. Anyone who moves their head like that needs to see a doctor. Lol.

Some might contain a little or a lot more strong language than we’d like, and I wonder if Goodfellas and Casino and Scarface would have really suffered at all without 1000 F bombs among them.
But a good movie is a good movie.
In my opinion, and i’m far from a puritan, those movies would have been just as good without 1000 F words.
funny thing is I knew a number of gangsters and they didn’t curse NEARLY that much, some not at all

I knew a lot of connected guys and I NEVER remember them cursing like that.
They cursed. But not every third word. Not even close.
the older guys didn’t curse at all if women were around.
