A recent Williams College student government meeting was disrupted by several black-activist students who yelled at the group for what they said they perceived as a lack of respect from their white peers, with one student saying “to be here is like sucking white d*** every f***ing day.”
“See when black people try to create space on this campus … it’s always a f***ing problem,” a black male student told the College Council on April 9 in a rant that was live streamed on Facebook from the student government’s Facebook page.
At issue was a funding request from members of the Black Student Union to host a “Black Previews” barbecue for prospective students that was not immediately approved by the student government.

Williams is partially to blame, they do these mediocre students no favor by admitting them to a milieu in which they are heavily over matched. They would be better off going to Howard or Morehouse where their race will get them a waiver from failure.
Exactly. I used to be quite open-minded about the concerns of blacks and other minorities. Now, I’m pretty much out of damns to give.
Hey, there are plenty of other colleges out there. Where they would not have to put up with this daily humiliation.
Williams “is not” for the welfare class much less for these AA students or even middle class whites. My father was valedictorian of his high school class in 1936. His father was not poor, but; they were not the Bush family or the typical extremely wealthy family of a Williams student. Yes, my old man was OSS in WWII. Williams was not his cup of tea. My mother’s family was very wealthy. These people who get into schools under AA need to be grateful they were accepted. This bitching and trashing people due to social class difference is BS. Be glad you got accepted.

Not brave enough to call order, not even brave enough to get up and walk out, when it was clear he wasn’t going to stop shouting and let anyone get a word in, edgewise.
I did the student council thing in undergrad, and I would *NEVER* sit through something like that. I don’t have that kind of patience or tolerance for nonsense.

You must not have heard of Affirmative Action.
No, when students, both Black and White, get their worthless diplomas and can’t find a job that pays them what they think they are worth, they go into government. Blacks have the advantage because of the racist policy of Affirmative Action.
That’s a major reason why government is so screwed up.

The two of them really should be expelled for walking into a meeting, yelling at the other students, and using racist and obscene language.
