VA Lt. Governor Confirms Sexual Assault Allegation Against Him Exists, Says WaPo Spiked It

Late Sunday evening, Big League Politics broke a story detailing an apparent sexual assault allegation against Democrat Virginia Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax occurring during the 2004 Democratic National Convention.

Now, that reporting has been confirmed according to a statement coming directly from Lt. Governor Fairfax’s office.

The statement, which calls the allegation “false,” reveals that the woman making the allegation had reached out to the Washington Post “more than a year ago.” But, according to the statement, the Post let the story die in darkness, choosing not to publish the story after a “months” long investigation.

Trending: UPDATE: Stanford Fellow Hints At Possible Justin Fairfax Sex Assault

This is the same Washington Post which spoke to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, publicly for the first time, and later followed up by publishing a column supporting the idea of “believing survivors,” saying that, “We believe women’s stories should be heard.”

The allegation that BLP first reported on, comes from a woman named Vanessa Tyson.

Tyson is a Stanford University Fellow, currently studying “the politics and policies surrounding sexual violence against women and children in the United States.” She also serves as a Professor at Scripps College, which she is currently on leave from, as well as being an accomplished author.

Her allegation was first made known to Big League Politics through a tipster sharing a private post from Tyson.

She claims that she was sexually assaulted at the 2004 Democratic National Convention by a staffer for former Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry. Fairfax was indeed a staffer for Kerry’s campaign.

The post goes on to explain that the man she alleges assaulted her went on to win statewide office in November of 2017 as a Democrat, just as Fairfax did. And finally, she explains that due to “strange, horrible luck,” the alleged abuser is likely to get a “VERY BIG promotion.”

That “strange, horrible luck” seems to be the scandal, first broke by BLP, likely to destroy the career of Democrat Virginia Governor Ralph Northram, showing a picture of him in either a Ku Klux Klan costume, or black face in his Medical School yearbook.

If Northam resigns, Fairfax will take his position as Governor, a VERY BIG promotion.

Everything in Tyson’s post points toward Fairfax, and now in a statement, that is being publicly admitted.

Big League Politics will keep you updated on this developing story.

You see how this works?
White Democrat Racist Governor won’t give up his Job to a Black Man.
Gets woman to accuse Black man of sexual assault.
Governorship then goes back to another White Democrat Racist:-)

He should keep denying this allegation, but admit to another one later that year. LOL

When Christine Blasey Ford surfaced, the Wash/Post insisted “we believe survivors,” and
that “women’s stories should be heard”....dismissed the woman who said Fairfax attacked her.

Yeah, I used to think that, too. I had a business partner for 8 years where everything was done on a handshake. All of a sudden a kind gesture I did for him came back 5 years later to bite me to the tune of $237,000+. The problem with your point is that you never know when/where/what is the outside influence. I find it safer to assume people always work to their own advantage, especially when there is some kind of benefit in doing so.

This sounds like your typical "he said, she said" story.

Neither has witnesses to corroborate their versions but unless this was more than a twosome, that's a big DUH!

What was she doing in his hotel room consensually kissing him and going to the bed, if she didn't think more was going to happen? This wasn't church. It was a sexual encounter. She had the green light on the whole way.

And how is one forced to perform oral sex? It takes two to tango, as they say, and there had to have been some cooperation on her part for the act to have taken place. Sounds like she just regretted what she did afterwards.

I notice the Washington Compost states that they couldn't find, "significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegations by the woman but doesn't mention the same regarding the denials by Fairfax.

That sounds a little one-sided and biased in favor of the woman's allegations and doesn't give the same credence to the denial of those allegations by Fairfax.

But then this is the Washington Compost, which rivals the New York Slimes for its bias and fakery in their reporting.

This is very inconvenient for them. Should they use the ‘nuts and sluts’ defense?

...Says WaPo Spiked It

What happened to reporting the story with "if true...?"

Or is that framing only used for Republicans?

What difference does it make? What does the left care? There was a woman proven to be raped by a NJ Governor Murphy employee and the state is covering it up and can care less.

I’ve heard both accounts of this. I support true victims. I do not find this to be evidence of sexual assault. I believe the Lt Gov.

They were in the hotel room making out. They were adults. Adults in a hotel room making out are probably going to have sex, and it is time to stop 1 minute into that kissing to tell the other you can’t go on.

Next they both say they went to the bed. Again, no one seemed to object. Then “suddenly” she can’t move her neck because he has pinned her and uses this position to force her to perform oral sex. While that sounds ghastly, a woman does have teeth in her mouth. So without a gun to her head or a knife to her child, SHE DOESNT HAVE TO PERFORM ORAL SEX TO COMPLETION.

If she didn’t object at that point, it was consensual. She could have gotten that conversation started, about how she wished to leave the room, with ONE SMALL BITE, amirite???

Consensual. She just wants to hurt his political career, maybe because he never called back.

A good point you posted. We shall see if it’s one, the other, or multi-purpose down the road.

The point of my post is to not take anything the Democrats do at face value especially when they are doing something totally out of character for them.
