The likes of Kirsten Gillibrand parade themselves as paragons of avenging feminist virtue in calling on Sen. Al Franken to resign. But the Morning Joe crew sees another motive behind the Democrat’s move to force Franken out: “cynical politics.”
Mika Brzezinski, Joe Scarborough, and Willie Geist all made similar points: the move to defenestrate Franken is really about Democrats trying to give themselves the high ground on the issue of sexual misconduct. The Dems’ real target is Roy Moore.

They need to open the list of who had to pay out $17 million in sex harassment payoffs. My guess it is 80-20 Dems who will be outed. I see a purge of the black caucus as a result. Conyers was the tip of the iceberg.
These two are by far the biggest idiots to ever appear on q so-called news show. They are so far beyondd any one’s ability to educate them they need shock treatment, but even that might not work because there is no evidence of either one of them having a brain that can be shocked into rationality.
Does the gutless Establishment realize that they have just created a Trump 2.0 in Roy Moore? Do they think that after the sandbagging he survived he’ll stick a cork in his mouth? Get ready to follow another Twitter feed. Moore will whack these rats just as hard as our Glorious Leader does.
The trouble with that line (in terms of targeting Roy Moore), is that it requires people to believe the accusations against him to begin with. It is now known that these accusations (beyond their age) are very likely suspect in terms of not only the timing of their public release but also the persons behind them and their personal backgrounds and likely very political motivations for doing so in the very recent last while. Also, Moore far less likely fits the classic pattern of a serial harasser/abuser than Franken or Clinton or Weinstein.
All of this makes me think of the television shows that were on years back that depicted high amounts of physical violence (Magnum PI and Dukes of Hazzard, etc) or emotional violence (Dallas and Dynasty) and that these programs were not at all realistic in many, many instances. The same can be said of the 24/7 news outlets today that rely on heavy political bias tilting Democrat/RINO and stories that are more often than not proven false or very questionable to say the least. Not just Roy Moore, but also the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election or the supposed serious emergency concerning private gun ownership, etc involving false, unrealistic portrayal. This is why trust in the news media continues to be at very serious lows in North America.
In the current climate, that list is bound to be made public eventually, and it will be fascinating.
PS: imagine what life is like for congressmen who know they’re on the list, and wait with dread each day for the shoe to drop.
Will we see some people announce that they’re not running for re-election even before the news breaks?

It is shrewd politically to oust Franken in Minnesota because he will be replaced by a liberal Democratic politician.
Then get rid of Moore and they pick up a seat.
I agree. They had better be careful with whom they attack. They were literally in bed with Clinton, Weinstein, Weiner, Spacey, Lolita, etc. There will be plenty of bricks to throw that aren’t 40 years old.

Interesting that Donald Trump just brought this up at about the same time an intern has said John Conyers had inside information on the Chandra Levy murder.
Levy vanished in May of 2001 after telling her mom in a phone call that she had a big public announcement she was going to make the next day or so. A year later she was found wooded area tied, BDSM style, to tree where she murdered in a Washington park.
A terrified airline stewardess fearing for her life came forward with stories of a club of seriously twisted Congressmen who had a sex club going where she and a number of Congressional interns, including Chandra, engaged in heavy BDSM and fetish activities including lots of male homosexual sexual acts. The stewardess was certain Chandra Levy was murdered to keep her quite and that she and the rest of the women involved were next on the hit list.
Her stories were confirmed by interviews with other members in the club.
A search of Gary Condit’s apartment found lots of BDSM paraphernalia in his closet and they recovered body fluid samples from the leather and latex BDSM outfits and paraphernalia , the floors, the walls and the furniture containing the DNA of at least a dozen prominent members of congress. There were more than 12 involved but the intermixing of the body fluids prevented accurate DNA analysis on all involved.
Good old Joe was reputed to a club member and DNA donor and in July an attractive intern of his was found dead with no plausible cause of natural death and under very mysterious circumstances in Joe's office.
It was suspected at the time she might have also been a member of the Condit Club along with Joe and that she may have been killed to keep her from testifying in the Chandra Levy case.
Joe left Congress shortly afterwords.

Democrats give up seniority. Conyers was in a pretty powerful position. When Democrats were the majority, Conyers was Chair of Judiciary and would be again if Democrats won in 2018.
Agree. What the Dems are doing now is akin to a Banzai charge - sacrificing themselves in a desperate attempt to change the outcome.

Since the 2012 election, momentum has been consistently favoring the GOP and I don’t see this trend changing unless the GOP sabotages themselves, but Trump, the Deplorables and the new media are wise to the Swamp’s game.

When it comes to Roy Moore and the accusations remember these 3 words. ‘ Fake yearbook signature’. It’s time to bring the judicial hammer down on those making false accusations including Gory-her Allfraud. Case in point and the DemRats and Rino’s got zilch on Roy Moore.
