This morning I realized that the endgame the left is driving at with this argument that our National Anthem and our flag are symbols of repression is that they want these symbols removed from public view. They call our anthem "hate speech" and they're calling our flag a symbol of white supremacy.
This is what they were getting at when they attacked the Confederate flag and then the Confederate memorials.
Their true target in all of that was to attack our identity as Americans.
These people are in a state of civil war against the United States of America. They hate our Constitution and I guarantee you that they will be attacking it right after they get the anthem and the flag removed from stadiums and public buildings all over America.
They want to destroy our country from within.
“Team unity” tipped me off as well. That phrase and others showed up in a message from our team owner’s Facebook acccount. I then saw the same thing on the Patriots’ board and realized the messages all came from a central Public Relations department. Then you add in the “Unity” ad that the ran this weekend. (”Between these lines, we are one...”) They didn’t come up with that overnight. It was a planned rollout. Trump maybe just forced them to roll it out faster than they intended.
Maybe Rush’s wings have been clipped if he still wants to remain among the living?

Yes, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Leftists want to dismantle Americans’ rights and to do that it must destroy America’s symbols.
They want to destroy our country from within.

Saul Alinsky’s Rules from Rules for Radicals
Saul Alinsky describes 24 rules in Rules for Radicals. Of those 24 rules, 13 are rules of “power tactics”:
1. “Power is not only what you have but what the enemy

Of course, that’s the goal. Statues first; now the flag. I wonder if these shoe-size-IQ-black players understand that they’re the pawns of rich white guys like Soros, et al.? They’re being played by Whitey, and don’t even know it.
Oh, I don't think so. Our common agreed-upon national anthem then was "America," which was loved and memorized with equal passion when I was a child and young man, and often sung in church:
My country, 'tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died,
Land of the pilgrims' pride,
From ev'ry mountainside
Let freedom ring!
But, like the last verse of "The Star Spangled Banner," it is the last verse that has disbarred it today:
Our fathers' God to Thee,
Author of liberty,
To Thee we sing.
Long may our land be bright,
With freedom's holy light,
Protect us by Thy might,
Great God our King.
Freedom's Holy Light is exactly The Holy Word of God, the Bible, not our Declaration of Independence or the United States Constitution, which arise from It. And this is what every liberal black, white, asiatic, or mixture of them wishes to equate with offal, and defecate it out of existence if possible (the process of which "kneeling" is for them the symbol).
At root, THAT is what is going on.
It is not freedom from Sin as a Master and chaos that they want--it is independence from The God of the Bible, His Son, and a disciplined life that he/they want.
Why does this not first occur to those deliberating on the issue?
It was defacto and not official. We never got an official anthem until 1931, which means we didn’t have a national anthem until 1931, which means we kicked England’s butt twice, won the Civil War, and stomped the Kaiser without one. Anthem’s really aren’t necessary.

But I do think the powers that be...will look to that as a solution.
In the interim, there is going to be a small window of time where it is very uncomfortable to be white.
Then the mass culling will begin.
