Sounds like a stealth subsidy for Big Food.
Feed our people first.
I think those programs are filled with fraud, kickbacks etc in those foreign countries.

We are all sick and tired of it. And that is why Donald Trump is the president of the United States.
Probably so. But this is definitely something that should be cut from our budget no matter where the food is coming from. We have people starving in our country and we are giving it to other countries. I hate how this country operates sometimes.
If you look in at the map in the article they count Somalia and Sudan as being major beneficiaries of this “aid”.
Hands up if you think we’re not feeding terrorists and warlords.
The other side to this is that giving free food to backward countries hurts their farmers. Who can make a living off the land if they have to compete with free food?
Dole is free to start a foundation.
But the burning question of the day is, are ‘their’ school lunches better than the school lunches our own kids were served the last four years? Did our kids receive free medical and tutoring, too?

My taxes, your taxes, and taxes paid by everyone here go in that ATM machine. But we can't access the ATM! We have little say over who gets the funds from that ATM! We keep getting told that we have to pay our "fair" share! The government could take 100 percent of our money and say it isn't a "fair" share - meaning fair for others from other countries. The liberal left and MSM tout all the "achievements" of Obama, but any idiot could throw other peoples' money away and "achieve" wondrous giveaways to others.
President Trump wants us to keep our money for us! About time someone is on our side in government. Kill the government ATM!

These articles should have an address where people can donate. That way if people want a program to continue they are welcome to donate. We are broke. We can’t pay for this stuff anymore. Ask again a few years from now and if we are out of debt we will think about it
We feed them and they hate us anyway.
Why should this be a function of the federal government?
For what kinds of public purposes do local governmental units, whether to serve general or special functional purposes, exist?
The seemingly special and limitless capability of the federal juggernaut to invent and levy more and more kinds of tax levies seem to have conferred upon it limitless purpess and capabilities.
