(CNN)Wikileaks founder Julian Assange said Tuesday his whistleblowing website might release "a lot more material" relevant to the US electoral campaign.
Assange was speaking in a CNN interview following the release of nearly 20,000 emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee by suspected Russian hackers.
However, Assange refused to confirm or deny a Russian origin for the mass email leak, saying Wikileaks tries to create ambiguity to protect all its sources. "Perhaps one day the source or sources will step forward and that might be an interesting moment some people may have egg on their faces. But to exclude certain actors is to make it easier to find out who our sources are," Assange told CNN.

“might release”
Fishing for a payoff imo.
Russias Long History of Messing With Americans Minds Before the DNC Hack
Russias intelligence services have a long history of mingling sinister fiction with shards of fact and leaking through third parties to cover their tracks.

Guccifer 2.0, the persona that has surfaced to take responsibility for hacking the servers of the Democratic National Committee, is all but certainly not who he says he is.
Its the latest in a body of evidence, says Toni Gidwani, director of research operations at ThreatConnect, that Guccifer is a persona manufactured by Russian intelligence to deflect attention from their breach of DNC servers. There are an increasing number of data points that point toward Russia.

“But notice its not specific to the Dems, but to ‘U.S. elections’...”
But notice that those are not the words of Assange himself, but the words of the CNN propagandist. When you go to the actual article you can see that “a lot more material” is a quote, but then Matthew Chance, the propagandist summarizes Assange without quotes with the phrase “relevant to the US electoral campaign.” They then pick up the same ambiguity for the headline. They don’t tell you exactly what Assange said in the interview.
Thursday morning would be a good time to release some more dirt and completely upstage the main speakers in Philadelphia Thursday night.
The past two weeks have been a dream.
So much good and entertaining news it is amazing
Don’t hate on Scottie. She’s person number 2. She’s a Trump supporter.
Bret Baier is a TWIT!
If I could give Mr. Assange one little bit of advice, I would tell him not to go for a walk 3 blocks East of Howard University at 4:00 am.
If they had RNC email, it would most likely be relatively boring. It would most like concentrate on how to get the message out to the voters and how to counter Hillary’s crazy accusations. It would lack discussing how to cheat and spread lies.
Bret Baier said it was Russia.

Well, yeah, he gets the talking points, too.
And whats the difference who leaked it? The words are what matter.
&&&
To us, yes. But, for the Soros Ministry of Propaganda it serves as a way of distracting attention away from the content of the emails.
Well said.
Yep
Those days are done Red.
You know I’m a YUGE worrier but the MSM is no match for social media anymore.
Nobody cares where it came from except MSM and the elite dems.
If it was Trump that got screwed by TED and we found out through a data dump from Russia, it would not matter AT ALL where it came from.
And it doesn’t matter to bernie’s commie followers.
And if they try to tie trump to it, he’s not McLame or Romney. He’ll hit back HARD!
I had the same reaction to the “Blame the Russians” meme.
Those days are done

I hope you are right. But we FReepers often make the mistake of thinking that all Americans pay as much attention as we do.
I’m not saying they pay as much attention. Just that they get their news from social media and they are SHARP when something is blocked on FB or Twitter
Ok ...what exactly does do to the big picture? And will this effect any future leaks?
