Speaking before a crowd Wednesday in Atlanta, Georgia, businessman Herman Cain made remarks about GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump that might have left some in the mainstream media bewildered.
Cain said that liberals have blurred issues in this presidential election because they want to label Trump as something that he is not. He said there are a lot of lies out there about Trump, and he wanted to set the record straight about one of the biggest of those lies, which was that Trump is a racist.
I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. I know what a racist looks like when I see one, and Donald Trump is not a racist, Cain said, according to The Hill.
Its one of the few things progressives have left to throw at Trump, but if polls are any indication, not many people are buying the notion that Trump is racist.
Which is why being racist is an accusation that the left needs to constantly repeat. They need uninformed voters to believe that Trump is racist to get Hillary Clinton in the White House.
Trump showed more respect for the only black man in the race by standing behind with Ben Carson when all the other candidates walked right on past him.
Cruz lost me for good when he walked right by both of them with a stupid smirk on his face. The only one who showed grace and dignity in an embarrassing situation was Trump.
I would love to see Trump ask Cain to join the team and be in charge of the 9-9-9 plan for taxes.
If Cain had sounded more like that introduction he just gave four years ago, things might have turned out very differently. Back then, he didn’t have enough conviction to turn the tide when those infidelity accusations emerged.
“according to The Hill” ??
I didn’t know “The Hill” was suspect.
In this case, I don’t think TCruz was aware of the gaffe underway.
Is Herman Cain being considered for VP?
I wish some Conservatives would get it thru their thick skulls: (in my best Rock voice) IT DOESN’T MATTER who the GOP nominee is/was/ever shall be, the Dems/Media are going to call him racist!
That may be, but he still walked past smirking, instead of stopping to find out what was what.
Good for Cain. His stock just went up a notch with me.
Labeling people Racist is true hate speech. The left are instinctively adroit at fixing the target and labeling him or turning what they are guilty of into the fault or offense of someone else. They are shameless about it. They are instinctively liars, cheats and sociopathic.
He WASN’T a racist when he was giving to Democrats because they wouldn’t take money from a racist. He was an Automatic NotRacist.
Now that he is running against a Democrat, he’s an Automatic Racist.

I know what a Racist looks like. He’s a jug-eared mulatto.
I just heard Cain talking about this.
Speaking of Hillary speaking jive to black audiences -— anchorman 2 while a truly dumb awful movie has a scene I love. Ferrell goes to his black girlfriends house for dinner. Ferrell starts trying to immitate street black slang and accents so he can fit in supposedly. The black family think he’s nuts. It nails how hillary deals with black audiences.
Trump has been in the public spotlight for about 40 years, and has employed tens of thousands of different people over that time. In New York City. If he was a racist, it would have come out long ago.
Donald Trump is interested in what people DO, not where their ancestors came from or how/if they pray to G-d. He is the very antithesis of a racist, IMHO.
You want to know who is a racist? Find the person who is CONSTANTLY talking about race - THAT person is a racist. Or, in the case of the Dems and the liberal press/media, they are racists as a group.
