The Magna Carta, the basis of the thesis that leaders are not above the law, the beginning of the path from absolute monarchy to the rule of law, and an important foundation of our Anglo-Saxon liberties, was signed on June 15, 1215.

How many people know that the Magna Carta contains a clause saying debts to Jews need not be repaid? Look it up.

“Why didnt our government celebrate it last year. They did not even mention it.”
The ignorant bastards probably never heard of it.
I seem to remember reading that the average IQ in Kenya is between 60 and 70.

That is quite good. Washington DC would struggle to make half that.

You know the answer, I am sure.
BTW, last year, I read about the fact that the Magna Carta would be touring certain cities in the US. I live in Maryland and tried to wangle my way into a viewing in Philadelphia, but the exhibit was open only to members of some bar association there. :(

How many people know that the Magna Carta contains a clause saying debts to Jews need not be repaid? Yes indeed it did, but with a qualification. This was if a debtor to the Jews died, his widow and heirs would not be liable. I can only surmise it was to prevent penury to a helpless woman and children.
To: harpygoddess
I’d like to see the Magna Carta tattooed on Hillary’s fat ass. In large print.
