[Vanity] Post Debate Trump, Rubio, Cruz, Kasich, JEB!
2/14/2016 | Vanity

Posted on 02/14/2016 1:10:50 AM PST by Fhios

Trump: He stood up there like the Champion I want fighting for me. Ready to break a bottle to use in a bar fight.

Rubio: I'm a fascist and fascism is cool

Cruz: Well greased. Debate prowess overrated but still good.

Kasich: Neck has a blue stain from blue collar work. Oblivious to the forces opposed to him.

JEB!: Crying little rich baby bringing his mother and brother into the fight.

Carson: Refuses to relinquish his 15 minutes of fame. Not a parody but a sad sad commentary on something that was important that I can not figure out.

And a bonus, two extra:

Sanders: I'm having a great time. Too bad this didn't happen at 38, look at all the chicks. Oh yea, everything is going to be free.

Hillary: Can't believe she is losing to this idiot. can't believe she is not in jail. Can't believe she hasn't been strangled in her bed.

“It means he is NOT ACCOUNTABLE TO ANYONE, and can do anything on a whim.”

So how’s that today’s politicians being accountable thingy workin’ out for ya?

With Trump at least you have a chance he will work for us instead of just another politician promising you one thing to get elected and then working totally against it once entering DC.

At the very least, Trump’s success in the private world is built on doing what he says and getting it done.

“You mean you want a president that has ONLY his own interest at heart and NOT the American people?”

Oh for crissakes get real. I’ve been watching this presidential crap for 60 years.
What friggin president doesn’t have his own interest at heart?

Its usual what they do for the American people is a by product of what their doing for their self interest first.Especially if you look over the last 30 years.

He is no different than any other human running for the position except he is not afraid to lose, and plays to win and we haven’t seen that since Reagan.

Just listened to it. Sounded very Reaganesque.
And your problem is...?

No way was that Reaganesque. I’m not saying it wasn’t eloquent, but it did sound fascist.

“It means he is NOT ACCOUNTABLE TO ANYONE, and can do anything on a whim.”....

That is UNTIL he is sworn in as POTUS, then the game changes considerably unless he pulls an odumbo and starts issuing executive orders. I do not see him doing that.

“but it did sound fascist.”

You’ll have to be more specific

You’ll have to be more specific

I was already very specific. Listen to Rubio's closing speech again. It was full of jingoistic fascism. If I thought he was sincere about it I might be rooting for him.

I’ve listened to it twice. That fact that you don’t think he’s sincere, doesn’t make what he’s saying fascist.

The aristocracy there in colonial times was composed of Spanish and even French colonists and their offspring. That can make for a wide variety of physical expressions, especially if they married locally.

Then, too, I think in Central and South America the majority influence is indigenous overall (We used to know them as "Indians" in the US) versus the Caribbean, where there are all sorts of influences on a smaller gene pool.

The European influence there would be expected to be greater by virtue of fewer indigenous people, and the Spanish were heavily involved in Cuba. Add in that those influences are only part of the genetics involved (half) and Cruz could take after either parent with the exception of dominant traits.

I have seen the same in our extended family where all of those on my wife's side are at least half Chippewa, most have dark hair and brown eyes, but here and there red hair is present, and even blue eyes on rare occasions.

So, lineage is no guarantee of genetic combinations, it only plays on how likely those are overall.

The other effect to consider is one of suntan, where someone who is a fisherman, for instance will have a darker complexion than someone who works indoors, all else being equal.

To have lighter skin is as much an artifact as a conspicuous symbol of living well, free from outdoor labor.

Because the Fact that Cruz is of Latin decent ...
********************************************
Cruz and Rubio are of Spanish decent, as are the folks from Puerto Rico, et al, that were once Spanish colonies/territories. Nothing Latin there, as Latin is an old language seldom used except in our old law system and medicine.

Not intended as a barb at you, Fhios, it’s just a rant against the misuse of labeling that has become so prevalent.

Real Mexican elites are white with Spanish ancestry. The Mexicans who pour over our border are mostly the result of mixing between the Spanish and Indian people and are brown skinned. Also, the Spanish language is not the same as the Mexican language, even though they share the same basics.

Rubio and Cruz have Cuban ancestry. Rubio has lived in the Cuban area of Florida and says Cruz can’t speak Spanish. True. Cruz has lived in Texas since age 4 and can speak what is called Texican, which is a mix of Mexican and Texan; not Spanish. Most of the Mexicans whose families have lived in Texas for many generations also speak Texican.

I guess my point is that these people are not “latinos”, as they don’t speak Latin.

I agree with your assessment of Rubio.

I noticed that everytime Carson was replying to a question he was looking down at the podium and reading his script. Did Carson get the questions he would be asked in advance???

BS
Trump supported baby killing until 2011
He changed because he wanted to run
In 2011 50 million babies had been killed
Trump supported 50 million baby killings

Perhaps you could post a thread telling the Truth

After 50 million baby killings, Trump announced he no longer supported baby killing. Trump made the announcement at a Republican Political Event.
Trump changed his mind because he wanted to run for office

Trump said just days ago that Planned Parenthood does wonderful things
Planned Parenthood killed 300,000 babies last year

Do you think that is wonderful ?

Also Trump is a Truther with a comb over
