It's 2019 and the fact that you and Vice President Cruz have decided to run for a second term deeply disturbs those of us who still care about this country. Like many true patriots, my wife and I voted for Sanders in 2016 and considered moving to France when you and that creepy Canadian won. We stayed and we regret it.

That’s perfect.
I stopped reading when I saw “voted for sanders”.
It’s a satire, and the attitude of the “letter writer” is the opposite of the author’s.
Well done.
Why? We’ll be France.
The headline you linked is a lie. Trump didn’t “float” Brown as VP. He was asked and said he would “consider” it, the same as he said about Cruz and pretty much anyone else he is asked about out of the blue.
In any case, “no” is the proper answer as to whether Scott Brown should be considered for VP. We would also accept “hell no”.
Instead Trump talked about handsome Brown is, as if that were a qualification.
I skimmed it.
Creative way to polish Trump’s knob, I’ll give it that. President Trump must get dictatorial powers to effect all these wonderful changes in under 4 years, like privatizing all public schools, all of which are under state and local authority.
The German word for “Brassiere” is Bustenhalter, BTW. That’s the most realistic part of the letter, I could see Trump asking Merkel that.
Love this part
“The Department of Education offices look like they’re in Detroit (old Detroit, not the capitalist hellhole you turned it into).”
“Western Europe, Canada, and Australia”
No thanks. They may be a little cleaner and don’t stink
as bad but that’s about it. They are still liberals and
are happy being the property of their betters. The type of
rugged individualism that America demands has either left or was
bread out of those countries many years ago. And you would
probably do better hand picking from a bunch of south Pacific
Samoa islands than the dregs you’d get from Cananduh.
Great answer if you want to lose the supporters of someone who just endorsed you. Idiotic.
This reminds me of college, where you can’t get scholarships for scholarship, but only for “need.”
He must be courting the useful idiots on here who wanted to give empty suit hack John Thune a promotion to veep in 2012 solely because he's "handsome" and "speaks well". Who cares if his Senate record is mediocre and he turned traitor on a key vote? The mere fact he beat Tom Daschle and has a chiseled face not only entitles him to serve for life, but be second in command of the country.
Also the Perrybots had a similar mentality. (although they fell for Perry's Texas swaggerin' Rambo-like conservative rhetoric)
Typically socialists blame their failures on one or a combination of things:
1) That failure was not failure. It is a huge success that its detractors are blind to.
2) That it was underfunded. Socialist programs are notoriously greedy for ever increasing resources. And when they cannot get ever more resources, they cut back on performance “to save money”, so theoretically eventually they would get ALL the resources and do nothing in return.
3) It has been sabotaged from within by those opposed to it. The Russians were big believers in shooting people they suspected of sabotage of things far beyond their control, like the weather.
4) Socialist systems cannot work in competition with any other system. It must be universal to work. And if it is universal, and is still a total failure, use the other excuses.
And ...?? Is there some new info there you imagine I do not allready know?
Socialism like conservatism means what ever we want it to mean. That is the problem.
Words do not have meanings for people anymore.
I would encourage us to be like Columbo, keep asking dumb questions until the words get defined.
Well, actually socialism is quite well defined. If you are really saying that such words have lost their actual meaning because people are generally poorly educated, then yes you are correct.
‘Columbo’ is a very obscure reference to a long ago canceled TV show that few watched.
Perhaps Diogenes is a better example.
