The quality and popular appeal of several of the GOP candidates suggest that some of them could be wonderful candidates for either cabinet positions or as advisers of the kind that Reagan had as so called "kitchen advisers"

Trumpbots You mad, bro?
Your guy won tonight. Why the name calling?
Maybe you're not really convinced he's gonna go all the way. That's my guess.

It is NOT about Iowa. It is about preventing a progressive like Trump from destroying conservatism from within. So, rejoice!

I think he already has two people lined up for his cabinet â Carl Icahn ( as treasury secretary ) and Sarah Palin ( position not yet specified ). Palin for Secretary of.... Well, maybe just "secretary", I think. Seems about right.
You betcha!

You’re right - its an unpopular opinion here. Though I agree she’s sharp and would make a fine VP.

If Trump wins the nomination I would look for him to pick somebody from a swing state. Ohio or Pennsylvania.

If Trump wins the nomination I would look for him to pick somebody from a swing state. Ohio or Pennsylvania. Possibly, but we seem to have entered a whole new style of presidential campaigning. He may not use the tried and true model of VP picking, but go with someone who can attract voters in some way other than being a home state favorite.

He might as well do it now. He and his supporters have been counting their chickens before they’re hatched for almost a year now. Maybe he could name his Supreme Court nominees too. And better yet he could explain some of his policies beyond saying they’ll be GREAT.

President Kennedy made his own brother, Bobbie, the Attorney General.
Democrats get away with all kinds of stuff.

I’d think Sarah Palin would make a great Secretary of the Interior

Though we battle on here inter party I would vote for ANY Republican on our slate over the socialists on the other side. It seems there are plenty of people here who disagree with you and, depending on the faction, if either Trump or Cruz wins, are staying home. This is how to lose elections and escort the socialists into power

It’s exactly how Obama won last time. Many stayed home and he turned out his free stuff express vote.
I don’t get how people could allow Obama to get into office because they only agree with 70 to 80% of the positions of his opponent.

Kasich should be postmaster general of course. His dad was a mailman you know...
