Trump also promised to cut spending and waste in government, a promise met with skepticism from both hosts. Yet it has been pointed out that just eliminating zero-based budgeting alone, which automatically increases government spending by 6 percent a year, would stop the growth of government spending and the debt trajectory.
Trump implied that there would be cuts in whole departments and business efficiencies brought to procurement and spending. As he put it in previous interviews, Its called management.

It was clear Trump had the American economy on his mind, first and foremost. He was detailed and less bombastic as he asserted that business and economic growth are what his wheelhouse is and what needs to be emphasized to change the trajectory of the economy and government spending.
He repeatedly defended his tax policies with specifics, and when pushed on his commitment to the presidential race made the point that he was winning in the polls and connecting with the voters. When pressed on whether he would leave the race if his numbers dropped, Trump was nonplussed, replying that he was not a masochist and if his poll numbers tanked it would be because he was no longer connecting with the American people.

I agree - he is a penny pincher and will attack the government the same way. No doubt in my mind.

Unintended consequences are a biotch.
have you ever thought perhaps Cruz too has the same feelings? I think Cruz is Trump’s answer to who ever the Koch brothers.
True dat
If a Democrat is elected, the U.S.A. will free fall into a hellhole of decadence.
That’s what’s at stake in the 2016 election: whether or not the United States will survive.
“They are tolerating Trump for new. He delivers ratings. Thell find a way to sabotage him by election day.”
Please come up with a way they can sabotage him they haven’t already tried.
“have you ever thought perhaps Cruz too has the same feelings?”
Has he ever expressed the same?
“Eliminate entire agencies. Dont just cut.”
And not just to reduce spending.
Some of these agencies have been captured by radicals and they are openly hostile to the American people.
Ok,odawg, there you go again. Answering questions and opinions with the truth and common sense. /s
If Trump falls Cruz will be washed away so quickly you won’t even be able to see what happened.
Trump has awoken them to the fact that even us dullards will only take so much, and once Trump exposes them, if they defeat Trump they wont even have to put on the dog and pony show anymore.
Is Trump for single payer health insurance? NO:
Mark Levin radio show 9-28-2015 (26:00 - 29:00 in audio-NOT SINGLE PAYER NO MATTER WHAT THE HEADLINES ARE SAYING. Mark wants to get Trump on his show to clarify whether this is an expanded role of govt. to help the poor when making deals with hospitals.

8-4-15 Morning Joe MSNBC
At 7:00 in the audio the panel asks Trump about single payer:
It works for Canada. Not the U.S. I like private enterprise, create competition, private system, open the state lines. I want a lot of bidders. As for those who cannot afford healthcare, you have got to take care of those people. About 25% in this category. Work out deals with hospitals who are not doing that well right now.

” Im finding it interesting that so many here seem to consider Trump as a shining star for the GOP. I just dont see it.”
And yet you are the same guy who once posted this:
“Giuliani? McCain? Id vote for either one of them in a heartbeat to ensure that another Clinton didnt occupy the oval office!”
Trump loves himself and I’m confident he loves America as much as himself. I may not agree w some or even most of his decisions, but I’m confident he will make decisions that are best for America as a whole.
I would prefer Cruz as the nominee, but I’d punch a Trump ticket also.
I am full in right now for Trump.
That said, if Trump loses to a Rat...I have tons of ammo (thousand of rounds of .22 lr for shooting squirrels for dinner).
I don't usually hunt. I have squirrels in the yard that I have fed for years.
But if the economy collapses...they will now feed me for years.
i already heard and i think it was Bolling’s interview education. not sure ehat the other one was. maybe commerce.
Don't care about the GOP...The GOP stinks almost as bad as the Democrat Party does...Maybe worse...
Trump is a (the) shining star for America...
If/when Trump makes it to the Repub nomination just look at the potential Dems to go up against him. He’s gonna make mincemeat out of them and its going to add even more crossover Dem voters to his side. Don’t forget that Trump knows how to close deals.
