Hillary Should Look At Her Own Office Before Preaching On Equal Pay For Women
A while back, we watched Rand Paul turn the standard media gotcha questions about abortion into a deft attack against the left. It was smart, tough, and something youd hope to see more of. If youve been watching Carly Fiorinas nascent campaign, you have. In fact, shes turned the idea of making opponents into their own worst enemies into something of an art form.
If Hillary refuses to answer a question, Fiorina points that out in her own response. If Hillary dodges the press for one of her supporter-only closed-door meetings, Fiorina sets up out front and invites the press to grill her. Its been a pleasure to watch and, yesterday, she used the strategy to turn a gotcha into a sharp attack against Obama and Clinton.
As youre probably aware, the left is trying to make equal pay for women into a major 2016 issue. It seems several, always unnamed, Republicans want to make sure women dont make as much money as their male counterparts. This, of course, is idiotic. ...But its the kind of identity politics that serves as the foundation of all Democrat campaigning and fundraising.
Oops, Reagan
NO OTHER declared or intending to declare candidate can attack Hillary so effectively as Fiorina is doing. The others do not dare because they are scared shxtless of being called warriors on women.
That’s exactly how I see it too.
Evidence?
Who denies it?
I don’t care who stirs the pot as long as they stir it in the right-ward direction.
Not the point I was making about Fiorina, but you nonetheless have a point of your own, and a good one at that.
If she takes out Hillary, great. Nowhere near the WH, however - not even in the cabinet - unless we want to send her to a country that wants to learn how not to run a company.
Your “question” was ad hominum (and not original). It does not look good for you to deny it or play innocent after such an unfair and intellectually dishonest attack/evasion.
I appreciate what she is saying, and especially appreciate that she now is a lot more outspoken on pro-life matters.
She is talented and smart.
As a Californian I think that she ought to have run this time for Boxer’s seat.
That she isn’t, but moved to DC to become enmeshed in RNC national politics is indicative that she is not a serious candidate.
iCarly is a pseudo-candidate meant to support the RNC and act as buffer against any conservative insurgency. she is not the only one.
There is nothing wrong with that, especially if one supports the RNC establishment over conservatives.
Maybe she can do to the IRS and BATF what she did with HP. ;)
Or maybe she knows she is the only one who can criticize Hillary because she has the requisite body parts to be allowed to. Maybe she intends to help the Conservative cause regardless of if she wins the nomination or not.
I have as much insight into her motives as you do, so my assertion is as valid as yours.
You need to look up the word ad hominum. In fact, it wsa a valid question as you demonstrate a strong dislike for her for some reason, it is a fair assumption.
but moved to DC to become enmeshed in RNC national politics is indicative that she is not a serious candidate.
That is your opinion and you're welcome to it, it hardy makes her a mole or a hack like you have accused her of being, without proof I might add.
It would be an SNL skit to see her lecture Chinese entrepreneurs on how to be successful in business.
Who denies it?
Yeah, seriousness of the charge and all that.....eye roll.
Women just don’t have the right hormonal balance in the adrenal system to handle the emotions of the job. Simple as that. Not Hillary, not iCarley, not Sarah Palin. I am sure I’ll get hammered for this, but it is simple biology.
Today, HP is a stronger company because of Carly Fiorinas bold action. Certainly some of this credit goes to current management, who capitalized on the changes Carly made. But it was Carly who shook up the status quo. She engineered the merger. She restructured the combined company. She positioned HP to gain market share, and she deserves credit for standing up to the naysayers and critics to achieve the positive end result. - Craig Barrett, CEO of Intel
Craig Barrett nearly got employees at the headquarters in Santa Clara armed with pitchforks and torches in 2002.
All he did as CEO is buy worthless and overpriced startups.
It took Paul Ortellini 10 years to undo his damage.
She is bringing the fight to the left so you denigrate her. How stupid can stupid get?
Yeah, the Iron Lady was a wimp.
Also I don’t know of the single HP employee/ex-employee who would support Carly.
She brings nothing to the table but a bunch of very angry voters.
“She is bringing the fight to the left so you denigrate her. How stupid can stupid get?”
I have not denigrated her at all. I have stated appreciation for her rhetoric.
I am only pointing out that she is part of the team with a broader agenda which is to make sure a GOPe candidate gets nominated.
She will not save her critical rhetoric for Hillary for ever.
