If this were 1915 rather than 2015, the positions taken by the Pacific Educational Group (PEG) would be properly attributed to the Klu Klux Klan. Even today if any “unapproved of” group said these things the media would ride in with their keyboards blazing to destroy anyone who even whispered what this liberal think tank is saying out loud.
PEG uses what it calls Courageous Conversations to say the things it does; but it’s still idiotic. PEG tells teachers that Blacks are, “…less likely to respond to fundamental ideas like working hard to achieve success, or being on time for school or work…”
PEG is infecting the thinking of government school, K- 12 teachers with the idea that teaching Black youngsters to be responsible and prepared to join our workforce is essentially a waste of time. This means that PEG is supporting the idea that our government schools are really operating to provide cushy “no responsibility” jobs for unionized Democrat voting teachers.
Various government school systems around the country have paid PEG millions of dollars to be given a free pass – absolution as it were – from the responsibility for seeing that Black kids learn anything useful in their classrooms.
Not at all surprising is that in recent years the Baltimore County Public School System paid PEG $427,000 to be told that they can’t teach Blacks how to fit into the greater society.

Just a non-racist observation, but in college (I went to state), whenever someone arrived to class late, over 75% of the time it was a black student. And blacks usually made up less than 10% of the class.

Black culture doesn’t HAVE to include working hard and being on time; it already includes getting the government to tax those who embody those virtues and pass the cash around.

“Coach” should fix his title - grammar matters.
“Black culture” is a false construct created by the progressives to separate America.

But they also insist that the difference in Black achievement is due to institutional racism. How do they think so many contradictory things without their heads exploding?
They would have been on more solid ground if they said “Liberal culture” doesn’t include wanting to work or being on time. I’ll nominate several of my white-as-a-sheet relatives as prime examples.
This is known of the "soft bigotry of low expectation."
Working hard and being on-time is a white man’s thing.
Where would they have learned that, a museum?

I took my professional licensing exam for engineering many years ago. Its a big deal...you have to get a degree, pass the exam to be an intern, be an intern for 5 years, and then pay a hundred bucks to take this final exam. Its only given twice a year in the state...and people drive from all corners of the state and stay in hotels, to take the exam the next day in one large room. Being late is unheard of. I was so paranoid about returning back from the lunch break late, that I packed a lunch and ate in the parking lot.
Anyway, like most standardized tests, at the magic hour, the doors are closed, and the test giver starts reading the rules and procedures.
Then we hear somebody try to pull the door open. Its locked...so now its a very loud pounding. Three people are let in...all late...causing the test giver to re-read the instructions and completely screwing up the time keeping/schedule. They were all black.
American bBlack culture , well here is a perfect example .
African boy comes to the school and over the last 4 or 5 years he has worked hard, talks correctly, wears his clothes correctly.
American black kids have told him he’s not black enough, don’t bother with him and call him a sell out.
That is the problem in the American lack culture and we won’t hear the MSM say a damn thing about it.
Either way it patronizing insult to both blacks and everyone else for that matter
