Norway recently made the controversial decision to deport a large amount of Muslims with ties to radical groups. Despite all the liberals in Norway deeming this racist, the logical party went ahead with it and the result almost shut down every opposing voice in the government instantly. This is one of the best stories we have eve seen come from such a liberal area of the world. Violent Crime Dropped By 30%

At least you care. I've encountered people here who will bite your head off on freepmail if you dare to try to help them correct their grammar or punctuation.
You'd think they actually approve of American English devolving into a gutter language.
“HOW the HELL does a country Deport people??? are they DRUGGED??? HANDCUFFED??? BLINDFOLDED???? Are they flown on regular Airlines??? Really....arent they liable to create CHAOS on planes or busses or however they deport them?? Anyone KNOW how this is done??”
Within the U.S., an armed Sheriff accompanies the perp who is handcuffed. The perp is turned over to an Officer of the Law on the other end and the Sheriff returns home. It’s probably done in similar fashion between countries.
“Muslim is not a race.”
Yeah, that is one of my pet peeves. I see it a lot in the overseas newspaper websites. PC, ignorant, and illiterate.
I have a great, great, great Grandfather named Thor. His Son's name is Christopher Thoreson. Christopher Thoreson's son is Lauritz Christopherson. He emigrated to US in 1875 and was the first of our line named Christopherson.
Good Decision! Hope that they continue this by stopping Muslim immigration. They seem to be much better informed that the US. I would say God help us, but our politicians seem to think differently!
There is a now obsure Norweigien author I read many years ago. Even you, a Norse decendant may not be familiar with her. My eyes wandered in a library, and happened to settle on a hugely thick novel written by Sigrid Undset; the title was Kristin Lavransdatter. It won the Nobel Prize in Literature 1928. Kristin Lavransdatter is a trilogy about life in Scandinavia in the middle ages, portrayed through the experiences of a woman from birth until her death.
It was an interesting read, though difficult, as there was so much melodrama. I was in a mood, so I over a few weeks I read all 1168 pages. It was a wrenching, sometimes morbid experience reading about that life. I will not be re-reading it any time soon.
I never heard of her.
It is interesting.
Parachutes?
That bitch would be at the top of my list ;)
You absolutely have NO idea how happy this news - if accurate - will make a first generation Norwegian I know.
Said person has been sad over the years when this subject comes up.
Time to be thankful in church tomorrow.
We have half the voters in this country want illegal aliens and muslims in this country.
We need to deport all illegals but most of all, criminal illegals. Obama has released criminal illegals from prison. He’s so evil.
Which $&@$hole will take them?
... but too many people in do-gooder jobs (social workers, therapists, counselors, translators, welfare workers, child advocates, lawyers, etc.) might lose jobs.
Exactly.
When you subsidize something, you get more of it. (Poverty, unemployment, mental illness, disability, children born out of wedlock, abortion, .... )
When you penalize something, you get less of it.
