Full Title:New Evidence For Anthropic Theory That Fundamental Physics Constants Underlie Life-Enabling Universe
For nearly half a century, theoretical physicists have made a series of discoveries that certain constants in fundamental physics seem extraordinarily fine-tuned to allow for the emergence of a life-enabling universe. Constants that crisscross the Standard Model of Particle Physics guided the formation of hydrogen nuclei during the Big Bang, along with the carbon and oxygen atoms initially fused at the center of massive first-generation stars that exploded as supernovae; these processes in turn set the stage for solar systems and planets capable of supporting carbon-based life dependent on water and oxygen.
The theory that an Anthropic Principle guided the physics and evolution of the universe was initially proposed by Brandon Carter while he was a post-doctoral researcher in astrophysics at the University of Cambridge; this theory was later debated by Cambridge scholar Stephen Hawking and a widening web of physicists around the world.
German scholar Ulf-G Meißner, chair in theoretical nuclear physics at the Helmholtz Institute, University of Bonn, adds to a series of discoveries that support this Anthropic Principle.

I would tend to agree with them. Peter Higgs, for the moment, seems to have nailed it. Symmetry was broken within a trillionth of a trillionth of a second after the big bang.
“Hawking and his ilk deny any such thing.”
Interesting that the author says in the article that he agrees with Hawking ...

I find nothing new in this article that strengthens the AP. Meanwhile, evidence for the teleological argument grows stronger. I like the question asked in the movie Signs, “there are two kinds of people: those who see signs, miracles, and those who see coincidences. Which kind are you?” I see purpose all around me, every day.

The most “simple” of single-celled organisms are stupendously complex. It’s laughable to believe such stupendous complexity could arise from random processes. For those who disagree, throw some chemicals together and create life from scratch. Then get back with me.
In reality, life springing from lifeless chemicals is about as scientific as wishful thinking.
I don’t get it.
In the article , Meisner says that a variance of 2-3% doesn’t make a difference. Then he goes on in the next paragraph to say that very small variances do make a difference.
In either case, their ‘proof’ consists of computer models.
How is a model considered ‘proof’ ?
ok, this is going to be good.

“The Self-Aware Universe.”
He proposes that there is something that has to and must be an overarching entity that controls all the collapse and all the entanglements, such that we all see and experience the same things.
From a Christian perspective, I say, ya, obviously. But it is really interesting to see physics coming to a similar point.
As in all physics, they are studying Gods principles and His creation, yet most people don’t want to admit it. Especially when their studies point back to Him.
Was it Hubble that coined that phrase some 50 years ago? Yet the account of Genesis was written a LOT longer ago than that.
Lemme see...all energy and matter that ever was and ever will be compressed into a single point, infinitely dense...'explodes' in a blinding flash of light and energy.
Now where have I read something like that before....hmmm. Got it. Four words...a mere thought from the Creator...."Let there be light!"
Why do they think that the big bang and Genesis are so irreconcilable? I can understand the quest for a possible underlying mechanism. But to deny a greater purpose, a greater Mind behind it? Seems odd.
Computer models are incredibly powerful.
For instance, mere thermometers show that the Earth has been cooling for 18 years and 4 months. But computer models have proven that the Earth is getting warmer.
You ask, “How is a computer model considered proof?” the
Well, that’s all that the global warmists have. They don’t have real “proof”!
I watched a show the other night about the Large Hadron Collider and the Higgs Boson. Here’s what I took away.
Bigger stuff is made of smaller stuff, and you’d be surprised how small some stuff is.
If I get to go before Him, I’d ask first, “Why viruses?”
‘Nasty host-seeking, host-needing, mutant varmints.
Talk about aliens....
No God, Only One Universe (Not Possible)
God, Only One Universe (Possible)
No God, Multiverse (Possible)
God, Multiverse (Possible)
If No God, then must be a Multiverse.
Just an idea.
1)God is the all-wise, all powerful, all-loving Creator.
2)God finished Creation and saw that it was Good.
3)Satan/Lucifer is the most powerful created being and a "wannabe" god.
4) Satan's attempts at creating life ("Hey, it's just a bunch of chemicals in random combinations over Time! How hard can it be?") and he comes up with Viruses.
"A virus is a small infectious agent that replicates only inside the living cells of other organisms."
"The origins of viruses in the evolutionary history of life are unclear..."
"Viruses are considered by some to be a life form, because they carry genetic material, reproduce, and evolve through natural selection. However they lack key characteristics (such as cell structure) that are generally considered necessary to count as life. Because they possess some but not all such qualities, viruses have been described as "organisms at the edge of life".

1 Peter 5:8 English Standard Version (ESV)
8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
John 10:10 English Standard Version (ESV)
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I (Jesus)came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
BTW, If I get to go before Him,..., one way or another, you will get that opportunity.
Plan ahead! :-)
