I don’t give a rat’s ass about your neck tattoos... or how often you eat chitlins and collard greens, the Republican Party needs to adopt the values of the constitutional conservatives that, believe it or not, are the majority of the taxpaying electorate.
When it comes to strategy and messaging, the entire Paul family leaves a lot to be desired.

How did he get that power? By welcoming diverse groups in their fold. It is majority of voters by summation of all minor groups.
There is a 3000 year old idiom in Sanskrit, which says to make friends you must not shut the front door in their face. If you are hospitable, there is infinitely greater chance you can win their hearts and minds. By shutting the door in their face there is zero chance of winning them over.
If republicans do not learn this basic lesson by 2016, get ready for more executive orders by Hillary, more late term abortions, more IRS Gestapo tactics, further weakening of Military, more appointments to Supreme court lasting 30 years each, higher taxes, expansion of Obamacare to strangle the middle class, and more control of our lives.
Conservatives can come in all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, and colors. That said, it doesn’t appear to be what Senator Paul means. The legitimacy of conservatism is not based on who does or doesn’t accept it. Its legitimacy will be in whether or not it speaks truthfully and factually.
Rand, if you oppose the Constitution, just say so.

The GOP does look like the rest of America except for the lack of blacks. Part of that is their fault, part of it is ours. Its their fault for drinking the Liberal Cool-Aide and viewing Obama as a Black man when in reality he is black AND white and RED all over. Its our fault for just writing them off in every election as a lost cause.
As for tattoos and earrings (aside from women) - that is part of America’s problem.
A woman with tattoos is making a statement - I’m just as good as a tough man - which she is not.
A guy covered with tattoos and metal jewelry dangling from his eyebrows, ears, and lips (women too) is ALSO making a statement - I don’t give a damn about your sensibilities or public opinion.
