I think he’s simply speaking a truth that few conservatives want to hear and even fewer have the courage to express.
Anybody here who knows me knows that I am no supporter of amnesty but I also recognize that there are millions who will get it. We’ve got 2nd and 3rd generation illegals here who simply aren’t going anywhere even if the Tea Party has super majorities in both house and senate plus holding the white house. This was the intent of kicking the can down the road for 30 years and its been successful whether we want to admit it or not.
At this point we need to be looking forward at how to get rid of the millions of more recent illegals, how we can keep them out, and how we draw the multi generation illegals to the right. I know it can be done if we have the will to do it.
