I don’t give a rat’s ass about your neck tattoos... or how often you eat chitlins and collard greens, the Republican Party needs to adopt the values of the constitutional conservatives that, believe it or not, are the majority of the taxpaying electorate.
My read of this is that’s his point. It doesn’t matter what a person looks like, but what they believe and stand for.
I guess everyone was too busy spitting and sputtering to read: “When the GOP becomes the party of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and liberty, Republican ideas “will win the day again,” he said.
Some of the best, strongest Conservatives I know are young tatooed small businessmen, and some of the biggest nanny-stater “moderate” Republicans look like they steeped right out of a yacht club.
