On Wednesday night Megyn Kelly declared on her Fox News show that both Santa Claus and Jesus were white. Discussing a piece in Slate by Aisha Harris about a black versus white Santa, Kelly that "just because it makes you feel uncomfortable it doesn't mean it has to change."

In the first place Santa is a mythical figure. In the second, what verified that Jesus was white?
"The Jeffersons was right."
I, for one..applaud your optimism..
Merry Christmas to you and yours!!!
Yes, Jesus probably looked Middle-Eastern. Like a Sephardic Jew or an Arab perhaps.
I think Megyn may have difficulty understanding the meaning of “verifiable fact.”:
In Megyn Kelly’s dreams, Jesus is probably blonde-haired and blue-eyed as well, just like the European pictures of Jesus she’s familiar with, and not Arab / Semitic-looking, as the Jews were at the time.
European admixture into the land that is now Israel is from the migrations from Europe into the Middle East.
Is she really stupid?
I guess. I never saw her show. I heard she’s a bog lib dingbat.
Moron.
Pictures of her look nice.
That word she keeps using...
and he spoke Swedish also.
Whole cargo cult thing, eh?
"Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle and simply "Santa", is a fantasy figure with legendary, mythical, historical and folkloric origins who, in many western cultures, is said to bring gifts to the homes of the good children on the night before Christmas, December 24. However in some European countries children receive their presents on St. Nicholas' Day, December 6.[1] The modern figure of Santa Claus is derived from the Dutch figure of Sinterklaas, which, in turn, was part of its basis in hagiographical tales concerning the historical figure of Christian bishop and gift giver Saint Nicholas. During the Christianization of Germanic Europe, this figure may have absorbed elements of the god Odin, who was associated with the Germanic pagan midwinter event of Yule and led the Wild Hunt, a ghostly procession through the sky. Over time, traits of this character and the British folklore character Father Christmas merged to form the modern Santa Claus known today."

She is an utter moron.
Just because today’s inhabitants of a certain area are dark skinned people does not mean that there were always dark skinned people living in that area. Look at California for example.
I’ve always cautioned my kids to think about Jesus as being like/looking like Louie Depalma (Danny Devito) from “Taxi”.
Whatchyagonnado, then?
The lesson is that we are made in the Image of God, we appear before God as “everyman” covered in Jesus’ blood. Would not Jesus, Himself, appear to us as “everyman”, too?
Well, that, and I just can’t stand the image of the “Zig-Zag Man” as Christ...too many bad high-school memories
The origins of St. Nick.
Saint Nicholas (15 March 270 6 December 343), also called Nikolaos of Myra, was a historic 4th-century saint and Greek Bishop of Myra (Demre, part of modern-day Turkey) in Lycia.

So Nicki was a Turk and Jesus was a Mid-East Jew - similar but different.
King David was Irish, don’tcha know?
Wait a minute...God looked like George Burns just a while ago...
Actually, it's His uncanny resemblance to Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci that should have scholars scrambling for an explanation. :)
