This.
Not sure why so many are so ready to "bug out" with their little bags full of Ramen, fire-starters and 550 cord.
Becoming a scavenging refugee should be an absolute last resort.
I think it's the hunting, period, that they're supposedly so upset with. Yet when it's someone like Bill Clinton or John Kerry they don't seem to care very much.
ROFL! I was hoping someone would post these.
I caught a bigger fish than that but I didn’t use my hand and arm for bait.
If you want to be a successful politician in Ws you kinda gotta have pictures of you sitting next to a dead deer.
I think you’ve summed it up nicely.
Good Lord, just look at him! You wouldn’t cath me within a country mile of that idiot with a loaded gun.
We all know by now where Sarah Palin stands on animal issues, but I was surprised and disappointed to read Barack Obama's statements to a hunting magazine.
Obama has told Field and Stream, a hunting magazine, if you talk to sportsmen in my home state of Illinois, they will tell you that I've always been a forceful advocate on behalf of the rights of sportsmen, on behalf of access for sportsmen and hunters. Regarding the future, Obama stated, I think that having a head of the Department of Interior who doesn't understand hunting and fishing would be a problem. And so my suspicion is that whoever heads up the Department of Interior is probably going to be a sportsman or sportswoman.

Double Ditto!
You are exactly correct. We’ve reached the point where even larger fish can be tracked down one by one.
Fortunately, people are smart enough to raise crops and animals with much lower levels of technology. I know a lot of draft horse folks and a lot lot of Amish.
Ryan hunts donkeys!
OMG, it looks like the GOP accidentally got themselves a real man for VP!
I am scared to ask, but what is a noodler?
Washington Times, October 2004...
When Johnny went a-huntin
Mr. Kerrys Ohio hunting adventure started last Saturday, when the senator, campaign entourage in tow, went into a grocery store and asked the owner: Can I get me a hunting license here? Even the phraseology sounded staged. Mr. Kerry ordinarily doesnt talk this way, and his language sounded fake and patronizing as if he was pretending to talk like someone from rural Ohio.

Noodlin or grappling catfish may sound weid to those afraid to do it, but its an old traditional way to feed ones family.
Personally, the thought of “feeling” a water moccasin turned me away. Its a sport requiring brass ones! Those TV noodliers are written in to look weird and super hicks, most actual practiciners are serious about it, not at all like the fake-o reality TV shows.
Well...IF that is what “noodling” is....I think it sounds like GREAT fun....and I’m a woman!
I don’t think there are gators in Wisconsin
Oh, how gay can Axelrod get?? They named the Romney/Ryan hit website “The Goback Team”. Cute.
But regarding Ryan’s love for hunting, they better be careful condemning him because hunting is inbred in Midwesterners. They got away with the lies about Plain hunting wolves by helicopter in Alaska, but it will only work once.
