"The third primary debate was held tonight. Which candidates helped themselves, and who ended the night in a worse position?
Tonight was Jon Huntsman's first appearance at a primary debate. Unlike Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain, who offered "red meat to the base" during their first appearances, Huntsman just fit in. Being a firebrand is simply not in Huntsman's personality, and he never attacked Mitt Romney, the man standing in his way in New Hampshire. Huntsman also suffered from receiving few questions. It's still unclear whether Huntsman is willing to do what's necessary to make a genuine run for the presidency...."

I second that...Bachmann, Cain, Santorum
Herman Cain
Romney did not lose anything as frontrunner.
That is because he re-framed every question to suit his prepared answer.
Newt looked and sounded the most presidential. My friends who are Cain supporters were really impressed with Newt. Newt, hands down.
(Romney did not lose anything as frontrunner.)
What you smoking ?
Who won the debate - it definitely wasn’t the questioners. But then I turned it off after Byron York’s lame question to Bachman.
I like Santorum, and though I don't think he's the biggest threat to Obama, it sure felt like the panel wanted to freeze him out, shut him down, and end his campaign.
But Ron Paul is useful to keep around, because he makes the GOP look like a home for lunatics.
Me too. Pawlenty was pathetic and mean spirited. Paul was deranged. Romney was slick, but they never even asked him to comment on Cap and Trade -- a program he supported last year. It's as if climate change has fallen off the face of the earth, except it's just laying in wait to bite us in the ankle.
No one won. We just witnessed 2 hours of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Newt won. Too bad I can’t trust him on so many issues.
Gingrich had the only real content.. repeal Sabanes-Oxley.. repeal.. Obamacare... repeal.. Frank-Dodd... as starters... NOW not on 2012...
Newt is a LIBERAL. Accept it.
What a beautiful picture!
Blogpimps. Definitely the blogpimps.
Agreed.
Newt won but I know he doesn’t have a chance in hell. I wish Santorum had more of a chance. I was leaning Bachmann but now im firmly leaning toward Cain.
They printed 3T+ and are ready to ship it out to all the banks, but the banks don’t want it. They have the paper (IOU) and can call for it but they know that inflation is going to kick in soon so they won’t draw it from the Federal Reserve because it will then be sitting on their books. If they drew and loaned it and inflation kicks in, the loans will be repaid with inflated dollars. The inflation rate will far exceed the interest rate they can currently demand and they would lose alot of money, hence, no one is loaning money and they are happy to get .25% interest instead.
Herman Cain if you listened to what he would actually do.
Overall the debate was unfair as each candidate should have been given the same number of questions.
I hate chiggers!
