While I was doing research for another blog post, I happened upon a lamestream media (LA Times) story from 2008 about the massive budget surplus that accumulated under Sarah Palin’s bountiful watch as governor of Alaska.
Try to imagine waking up one morning and reading a newspaper article in which the experts quoted had something like this to say about our nation’s federal budget:...

Well sure, ‘cuz Alaska has all sorts of oil. Of course that can’t happen for the U.S. as a whole as we don’t have any oil, natural gas, coal, timber, or other natural resources to utilize.
Germany was able to get out of the Great Depression by exploiting its natural resources. Well, once they crashed through the borders and took them from eastern Europe, etc.
(Our “borders” of red tape and regulations will be harder to crash).

I agree. There is simply nobody else out there like her. In fact, if she gets in I’m will to bet that she rolls back a higher percentage of government and spending than just about any president in history.

LOL...my eyes were playing tricks on me. I thought that last line was “Mr. President, GAME ON.” It just goes to show what can sneak through when you’re not paying attention!
The 21% of hard core Obama-maniacs would prefer the depression we have now to the prosperity that Sarah would bring.
A) The US had some larger entity that paid it $1.84 for every $1.00 of taxes collected.
B) The US taxed oil company profits to re-distribute to da peeples (you know like obama wanted to do and palin(™) did).
I think she will be the first POTUS in the modern era to make real cuts ans shrink the beast of government.
Her winning will give her a mandate to do it. And woe to those that stand in her way. I see FDR as the end result of wilson’s policies and Palin as the end result of Reaganism.
She will do a new deal on reaganism.
No one, I mean NO ONE in politics comes up with better stuff than Sarah Palin. And to think that Juan McCain’s idiots stifled her in ‘08. Her riveting convention speech was the last speech in which she had had personal input. Her speech that I attended in Scranton later that fall was mostly standard, warmed-over populist nonsense. Nothing like her convention oratory. At least no Democrat could be offended, least of all the Punk.
