As we enter the GOP primary season, I'm starting to notice more and more an annoying trend here in FR. It seems as though everytime there's an article, or someone posts a comment about Romney, either pro or con, it nearly always devolves into an extended, and acrimonious discussion about the Mormon faith. Those who defend it, and those who, for whatever reasons, can't abide it, both sides seem determined to wage an "end of times" batte on all the FR threads. Frankly, I'm tired of it, and just wish it would stop. I think that probably 99% of others here feel the same way.

The MODERN signs seem to use a font with no lowercase characters.
That way, the fact that 'day' is NOT capitalized, is lost.
It’s not likely that it will stop, so that isn’t a realistic option.
The right response is:
1. Come up with a short, crisp answer that automatically wins any argument.
2. Ignore it/shrug it off
Attacking another religion, especially using falsehoods and misinformation to do so, is bigotry. I’m glad in your happy land bigotry doesn’t exist, but try reading the hate dripping out of these Mormon bashing threads and still tell me there’s no bigotry involved.
Out of curiosity I checked this thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2725798/posts and found the word ‘Mormon’ in exactly two posts out of ~700. Of course, it’s possible (probable?) that some already got deleted.
First posting the 'beliefs" of any religion is not an attack, but that is another matter...
As it is other than occasional hyperbole in the heat of the moment there has yet to be valid and viable rebuttal to the supposed “falsehoods and misinformation” posted here about the Mormon Cult.When the Mormon finally prove their words and clear up all the issues with their "prophets, you will have a point.
