2nd Amendment Rights Finally Considered a Right for Black Chicagoans Too!

At long last the 2nd Amendment has been considered a personal right per the Supreme Court of the United States. In McDonald v the City of Chicago the Supreme Court has ruled in a 5 to 4 decision that Chicago's gun banning laws are not in keeping with the right to self-defense as enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. After 200 some years we are finally accorded our rights officially. Further, the Court found that the 2nd Amendment was meant to protect the very people that Mayor Richard Daley and his comrades are trying to forcibly disarm: black Americans. (See PDF of Decision)

The decision threw out the Seventh Circuit ruling upholding Chicago's gun ban and ordered the Seventh to revisit its decision. This new ruling does not specifically strike down Chicago's gun ban but the opinion leaves little room for the Seventh to up hold Mayor Richard Daley's gun banning efforts.

One of the main questions before the Court was whether or not the 14th Amendment served to shore up the rights in the 2nd. The Court found that it did, indeed. In fact, it is interesting to note that the ancestors of the very people that the 14th Amendment was meant to specifically protect -- newly freed slaves, called freemen -- are today those that Mayor Richard Daley and others like him want to disarm. Daley and his ilk want to disempower blacks and other minorities and tie them plantation-like to their government authority...

Many Conservatives sat out the election, giving us Sotomayor and Kagan, who will each be the bench for 20 years.

It is far too close when the entire Constitution and our liberty depend on how Justice Kennedy feels that morning.

How is it that Democrats' nominees always turn out exactly how they expect, but the Republicans' ones, like Souter, Breyers or even Stevens can turn out to be complete surprises as they "mature" in their role? Just once could the Democrats nominate someone who suddenly starts voting with Scalia and has the Democrats cursing when his name is mentioned.

The Dems get far leftists because they are not “nice guys”. The GOP are idiots and want to play nice by picking “moderate” people for SCOTUS candidates.

The Dems pick outright socialists and then dare the GOP to stop them, which doesn’t stop them.

So the Dems ram their socialists down our throats while the GOP make nice and get guys like Souter and Kennedy.

This is why the commie Dems have been winning incrementally since at least 1960. They are better street fighters.

The GOP only threaten with the nuclear option to get Roberts and Alito. The Dems actually go through with it and cram Obamacare down our throats. Obamacare is flat illegal since it is illegal to use the “reconciliation” process on non-budgetary legeslation.

It was not lawful for the Democrats to use “reconciliation” to pass Obamacare. They don’t care. They are street fighters. They get in your face and say “I dare you”.

The GOP are gentlemen and getting their clocks cleaned. It is the same with us and China. China are better street fighters.

If the GOP wants to survive, they better find a way to get down and dirty in the gutter and start kicking the Democrats in the balls, pulling their hair, gouging out their eyes and biting. Because that is the way the Dems fight.

You have to fight fire with fire. The GOP refuses to come down to the comnmie Dem’s level in the alley fight and as a result we are boxing and they are kicking us in the balls and sucker punching.

The GOP need to figure this out quickly before they have no party to fight with.
